The Machine Brian Cage debuted for AEW in a big way at Double Or Nothing. He destroyed the opposition and injured Darby Allin in the Casino Ladder Match for the opportunity to face AEW World Champion Jon Moxley. His manager, Taz, crowned him FTW Champion before his title fight with Moxley at Fight For The Fallen.

Cage would fall to Moxley after Taz threw in the towel and would fall victim to a skateboard to the side of the head from the returning Darby Allin. However, The Machine is just getting started. This impressive athlete has many exciting opponents still waiting for him in AEW.

10 Joey Janela

Joey Janela isn't a top player in AEW but his matches are still exciting. Janela had a fantastic unsanctioned match against Jon Moxley last year and hasn't had a standout match since. The Machine might change that for him.

Janela fancies himself a bad boy and Cage's FTW Championship is supposed to be a title for bad men. It would make sense that Janela would want that title, despite it not being an officially recognized championship. Janela's reckless style of throwing caution to the wind would make him a great opponent for Cage.

9 Jungle Boy

Jungle Boy is one of the most exciting wrestlers on AEW's roster. He has had great tag matches alongside Luchasaurus, as well as stand out singles bouts against MJF and Cody. This young competitor's unnatural resiliency and surprising strength make him an intriguing opponent for The Machine.

Cage would throw Jungle Boy around but that wouldn't be enough to keep him down. Jungle Boy is incredibly resilient and has the ability to shock his opponents with his great speed and athleticism. Jungle Boy would surprise Cage and keep The Machine on his toes until it was all said and done.

8 Lance Archer

Lance Archer and Brian Cage have a lot in common. Both are incredibly strong and deceptively agile big men that dominate their opposition in the ring. The difference lies in style. Where Archer is rough, wild, and violent, Cage is very precise with his incredible offense.

A clash between the Murder Hawk Monster and The Machine would be a showcase of just how different big men can be. Archer's rough, brawling style would be put to the test against Cage's precise strikes and perfect throws.

7 Brodie Lee

Like Archer, Brodie Lee is always incredibly strong and agile for a big man. He is also nearly supernaturally resilient and excels at playing mind games with his opponent. These attributes make him a great challenge for Cage.

Cage's strength, athleticism, and precision may all be for naught if The Exalted One manages to get in his head. Once he is done playing mind games, Lee goes on a path of destruction. With both men being dominating forces in AEW, who would get the upper hand in a fight?

6 Luchasaurus

Luchasaurus is another big man but he wrestles like a cruiserweight. With precise kicks and huge dives complementing his power moves, he presents a unique challenge to everyone he gets in the ring with. Cage would be no exception.

Brian Cage and Luchasaurus wrestle similar styles, except for the fact that Luchasaurus is a kick aficionado. With his ability to stun opponents or simply knock them out with his kicks before he goes for his power moves and high-flying offense, Luchasaurus is unlike anyone else in AEW.

5 Chris Jericho

Everyone in AEW should be looking for a match with Chris Jericho. He is a living legend and continues to impress in the ring with his expert timing and masterful storytelling. Le Champion would have a strategy for any opponent, including the physically imposing Brian Cage.

Jericho would have to use his tactical prowess and clever strategies to avoid getting thrown around the ring by The Machine. This would be the ultimate test to see how the FTW Champion's athleticism and strength compare against smarter, strategic wrestlers.

4 Darby Allin

Darby Allin was clearly looking for retribution against Brian Cage when he returned at Fight For The Fallen. Cage injured Allin in the ladder match at Double Or Nothing and Allin hasn't wrestled since. He got a small measure of retribution with a skateboard shot to the head of Cage but he's surely looking for a match.

This grudge match should happen sooner than later, as Allin will try to use his reckless style to put a stop to The Machine's dominance. Allin is definitely quicker than Cage but if Cage catches hold of him, he's going to launch the smaller man around the ring. This unique match up will be a treat for AEW fans in the near future.

3 Cody

Like Chris Jericho, Cody is a tactician in the ring. The TNT Champion always has a strategy for his opponents. The American Nightmare uses that strategy to remain one of the top performers in AEW as he defends his title almost every week.

Cody is no stranger to facing bigger opponents, as he felled Lance Archer to become the first TNT Champion. However, Brian Cage is a different story. The Machine's precision and athleticism would add another element to challenging Cody, giving him his toughest test yet.

2 Hangman Adam Page

Hangman Adam Page likes to drink and he likes to fight. If Brian Cage came looking for a fight, Page wouldn't turn him down. Page is a hard-hitting, athletically impressive competitor but Cage is The Machine.

Brian Cage and Adam Page would take each other to the limit if they wrestled. After losing to Moxley, Cage will surely be looking to take on one of AEW's top names to prove himself. Adam Page is the perfect opponent for this and fans would love to see it. This would be a hard-hitting encounter that would leave both men sore the next morning.

1 Kenny Omega

Precise, crushing strikes, huge power moves, and incredible athleticism are the building blocks for Kenny Omega's offensive repertoire. The same is true for Brian Cage. While Cage is much bigger than Omega, they actually have similar styles.

A match between Cage and Omega would be a barn-burner that could main event any AEW show. Kenny Omega is quite possibly the best wrestler in AEW and Cage may look to prove himself against the Best Bout Machine. A war between Cage and Omega would surely have fans out of their seat.
