PWInsider.com is reporting that Braun Strowman left the WWE Holiday Tour on Thursday, following an illness. The Monster Among Men did appear on two shows before leaving, and it's unclear if he will appear on Monday Night Raw this week.

On the tour, Strowman continued his feud with Kane, and a fan shared a video of him putting the Big Red Machine through a table.

We should get more information on Strowman's condition soon, but we should hope it's nothing serious. Roman Reigns and Bray Wyatt recently went down with the mumps virus and were out of action for several weeks, and both had to be pulled out of their matches at the TLC pay-per-view.

Strowman missed about a month of action earlier in the year following an elbow injury. It was originally reported that he could have missed up to six months of action, but Strowman made a quick recovery.

If Strowman's illness is something that keeps him out for a while, this could cause some major changes in storyline. Dean Ambrose is out for nine months after suffering a torn triceps, so it'd be a huge blow for Raw to lose another major superstar—especially with the Royal Rumble and WrestleMania 34 not far off.

Strowman received a major push by the creative team in 2017, squashing a handful of opponents like Reigns, Kane, Big Show, and others. The Monster Among Men is scheduled to face Kane and Brock Lesnar in a Triple Threat match for the Universal Championship at Royal Rumble.

We'll be sure to update with more information as it comes. For now, we can only hope that Strowman's illness isn't anything that keeps him out long-term. He's worked hard to get to this level, and the WWE can't afford any more injuries to its main stars right now.
