Braun Strowman's Favorite Thing About Wrestling Proves He's Not A Monster

Big, bad Braun Strowman likely loves a lot of things about the wrestling business, but what he loves most is putting smiles on kids faces.

The rise of Braun Strowman was one of the most amazing things to come out of all of pro wrestling in 2017. The Monster Among Men was the breakout star of the year and Vince McMahon is likely grinning from ear to ear every time he hears the WWE Universe react to him on Monday nights. Whether intentional or not, Strowman is one of the most popular Superstars on the roster right now.

While Raw's Resident Monster likely loves his current standing in WWE, his newfound fame comes with its downfalls. Even before he signed with WWE Strowman probably garnered a lot of attention due to the sheer size of the man, nowadays though he probably gets stopped even more. Strowman recently discussed this very topic on ESPN Radio's J&J Show.

Apparently, Strowman feels like he can no longer visit places like shopping malls anymore as he attracts too much attention. When he is out and about though, he feels he can be a lot more like his on-screen character to older fans and tell them to go away, but when it comes to kids he's a big softy. "Literally, that is my favorite part about being a WWE Superstar is the influence that we get to have with the little ones," Strowman admitted.

The Monster Among Men expanded on that comment and said that now he is more of a babyface on television it means he can be more interactive with younger fans in the crowd. Giving them high fives as he leaves the ring whereas before as a heel that was something he really couldn't have done. Judging by Strowman's demeanor you might not have thought of him in this way, and it's nice to find out that the man behind the gimmick is clearly a really nice guy.

Something all of Strowman's fans, both young and old, would love to see is The Monster Among Men win the Universal Championship. In a little under three weeks time, he will get his opportunity in a triple threat with Brock Lesnar and Kane. If the leaked photo of the Elimination Chamber main event is anything to go by then it will indeed be Strowman being crowned champion at Royal Rumble.
