As if Crown Jewel wasn't already a strange show taking place in a land most of America feels WWE shouldn't be visiting, another unconventional bout has reportedly been booked for the October 31 event.

Following reports of Cain Velasquez going toe-to-toe with Brock Lesnar, having already assaulted The beast Incarnate at SmackDown on Friday night, Dave Meltzer has suggested that Braun Strowman will be fighting UK boxer Tyson Fury at the event as well.

Fury, who was at the show's FOX premiere on Friday, got into a heated exchange with Strowman at ringside during his six-man tag match. The boxer has since revealed having accepted an offer to appear on Raw this Monday, announcing as much via his Facebook page on Saturday.

"Last night we attended WWE Smackdown for my son’s birthday. I’m a lifelong WWE fan and my son loves it. We went there for his birthday and I was insulted in front of my full family by Braun Strowman," Fury said.

"It got a bit heated and we saw what happened. I’ve been invited to Monday Night Raw, I accept. I’ll be there. But if Braun Strowman doesn’t behave himself, he’ll get some of these hands, the big dosser."

Fury's family went all-in on Braun chanting "You big dosser," after the star's warning.

Let's Not Get Excited Just Yet

Meltzer says that the booking isn't official and has claimed that it's the "prevailing talk," but we wouldn't be surprised if this gets confirmed by WWE soon.

The promotion looks to be well poised to bring in some of the biggest names in combat sports these days and fans would probably love to see Strowman and Fury go at it one-on-one in a WWE setting.

Fury is also set for a boxing rematch with Deontay Wilder on February 22, 2020, after losing to the American last December.
