The clash between the two stars was probably the night's most anticipated event but WWE contrived to screw it up by having the referee cut things short to see Rollins retain his title through a disqualification that wasn't really a disqualification, as they put it.
Fans were quite upset over the match and let the promotion know by chanting "AEW!" and "Refunds!" as the show went off the air. The outcome is said to have been quite unpopular backstage too and it would appear that Wyatt was not best pleased either.
The Firefly Fun House host liked a tweet posted by adult company Brazzers following Hell in a Cell in which they brilliantly trolled WWE.
"Hey WWE, let us know if you need advice on how to craft logical and coherent storylines with satisfying finishes," they tweeted in what's clearly a hilarious poke at WWE's poor storyline where this particular match is concerned.
CM Punk liked the tweet as well, but Wyatt giving it his stamp of approval is likely an indication of his dissatisfaction.
This isn't the first time Brazzers has messed with WWE in such fashion. The company made an offer to former WWE star Eva Marie over Twitter back in 2015, asking her to give them a call if "this whole wrestling thing blows up in your face."
They also offered to "hook" Rollins up with adult videos while he was sidelined with an injury around the same time. "Get well soon @WWERollins," the tweet read. "If you need some p**n to help cope with the downtime, we will gladly hook you up."
Brazzers Has WWE's Number
It appears that the adult film company enjoys trolling WWE but they've really outdone themselves with this last one.
Vince McMahon needs to get someone from over there on the phone.
