Bray Wyatt successfully defended his Universal Championship against Daniel Bryan at Sunday's Survivor Series pay-per-view, but The Fiend didn't get much time to rest and recover.

When this week's episode of Monday Night Raw went off the air, fans at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois were given quite the treat. Wyatt put his title on the line once again - this time against Drew McIntyre in a steel cage match.

Unsurprisingly, The Fiend defeated The Scottish Psychopath to successfully retain his championship. You can view some photos of the match below, courtesy of fans who were in attendance:

Wyatt has been on a roll as of late, having first defeated Seth Rollins at Crown Jewel to become the new Universal Champion. After defeating a future Hall of Famer in Bryan at Survivor Series, he managed to conquer a bigger and stronger opponent in McIntyre. And he's not going to stop there.

New United States Champion Rey Mysterio is set to challenge Wyatt for his title in a steel cage match at Saturday's WWE event in Mexico City. The Fiend is also scheduled to defend the Universal Championship against former Wyatt Family member Braun Strowman at Starrcade this Sunday.

It doesn't seem like WWE is about to slow down on Wyatt's massive push any time soon, either. It was reported last week that the Universal Champion will be in a main event match at WrestleMania 36, and it's going to be a long time until somebody defeats Wyatt via pinfall.

WWE Is Building Up Wyatt Perfectly

There have been plenty of lackluster and questionable booking decisions by WWE as of late, but they're doing a flawless job in building up The Fiend. He's the biggest thing in WWE right now, and fans are completely behind his big push. With victories against all of these big-named superstars, Wyatt's momentum and popularity is only going to grow even more. All in all, the creative team deserves plenty of credit in regards to how they've been handling and booking The Fiend.
