Bray Wyatt has really changed things up since working as The Fiend, and it has been a true breath of fresh air for him. A big reason for that is that the character has done a great job delving into old feuds that Bray's older gimmick had.

While there have been some fresh storylines as well, which have been equally as important, there is nothing like seeing an old story renewed. The fact that The Fiend seeks revenge for Wyatt builds up his character, so which old storylines should he visit next, and what new storylines should The Fiend take on?

10 Former Rival: Randy Orton

The last time Bray Wyatt was involved in the main event scene prior to becoming The Fiend, he feuded against Randy Orton. The two men had a really interesting story, but, in typical fashion for WWE's booking at that time, Wyatt came up short in this storyline.

WWE often would book him to lose his major angles, and that is why a feud against Randy Orton once again would be perfect. The Viper is at the top of his game right now and a feud against one of the biggest names in the industry with The Fiend would certainly be interesting.

9 Fresh Feud: Sheamus

Despite the fact that The Fiend is perfect for being a heel due to his monster tendency, fans have taken to him really well. Audiences love the gimmick and that is why putting him up against Sheamus would be an interesting take.

Sheamus is a violent and physical wrestler and is someone who is believable when battling against The Fiend. Plus, a feud against a top star like The Fiend would help raise Sheamus' stock, which is certainly something he deserves.

8 Former Rival: Roman Reigns

This was clearly what WWE had planned down the line had COVID-19 not hit. However, while it hasn't yet, that doesn't mean that it won't ever happen as a storyline between Roman Reigns and The Fiend has money written all over it.

This would be a major storyline and could really benefit each man. It would be massive for SmackDown as well and it could continue Wyatt's character development, looking back at the feud they had previously, which Roman dominated.

7 Fresh Feud: Jeff Hardy

This is a storyline that fans would love to see take place and could really be one for people to invest in considering Jeff Hardy's popularity. Jeff is a perfect underdog character to compete against The Fiend, and he is someone who has delved into the unknown world like this previously with his work at IMPACT Wrestling.

It would certainly be interesting to see Jeff painted up facing off against The Fiend, with the visuals alone making for an entertaining hook.

6 Former Rival: The Rock

The chances of this one actually happening are very slim, but it would be nice to see The Fiend target The Rock. It would be a way of putting over Bray Wyatt massively, and after their previous interaction at WrestleMania, it would be great to right this wrong.

WWE really buried the Wyatt Family that night, and seeing The Fiend try to end the career of The Rock if he was to return again could be an interesting take. It would be fun to see The Rock put over The Fiend and it would be something very different for the People's Champion.

5 Fresh Feud: Edge

Speaking of legends of the wrestling industry, one who Bray Wyatt doesn't have any history with is Edge. However, that is exactly why this is a storyline that WWE should make happen at some point in the future.

Edge is perfect at telling stories within matches and through his promos and putting him with The Fiend would really get the best out of him. Edge knows when to be calm and when to pick things up and become more intense, which is what is needed against The Fiend.

4 Former Rival: Finn Balor

Even though Finn Balor is an NXT Superstar now, that doesn't mean this can't happen. Balor might have been the first true victim of The Fiend, sending him back to NXT, but WWE didn't quite delve into this storyline to its full capacity.

For starters, there was never even a major match between The Demon and The Fiend, which was a huge missed opportunity. This is something that could have been a major main event storyline and hopefully, WWE will try to make it happen down the line.

3 Fresh Feud: AJ Styles

The beauty of AJ Styles is that he can work as a top babyface or a heel and that means he is easy to slot into a feud with The Fiend. Whether he's arrogant and believes he can take him down, or he is a plucky underdog trying to survive, it works either way.

Another big benefit to putting AJ Styles in a feud with The Fiend is that it could bring out a fantastic match for him. This has been the one hindrance of him so far, as his matches haven't always been of high quality, which AJ could change.

2 Former Rival: Brock Lesnar

WWE teased the idea of Brock Lesnar and Bray Wyatt competing during a Royal Rumble match, and they set up a bout between them at Roadblock. However, on that night, it ended up being Luke Harper who stepped into the ring with the Beast.

This left a massive dream match on the table, and while that was a fun possibility, that is even more intense now The Fiend is around. A major monster like The Fiend could work as a legitimate threat to Lesnar which would be a lot of fun.

1 Fresh Feud: Matt Riddle

Matt Riddle has come into WWE with tons of momentum so far and it's clear WWE has big ideas for him. If the company really wants to get behind him, then a storyline with The Fiend would show that intent.

Matt Riddle's in-ring style would be something totally different than anything that The Fiend has ever come up against. Doing that would help keep The Fiend fresh and it would certainly be a big deal for SmackDown, providing a fresh storyline to the show.
