If you stayed up to watch the end of Raw on Monday you would have seen Seth Rollins getting attacked by Samoa Joe as he was headed to confront Triple H. Well, it looks like that attack has lead to Rollins re-injuring his knee.
WWE.com has posted this breaking news:
"Seth Rollins’ right knee was re-injured during Samoa Joe’s ambush at the conclusion of this Monday’s Raw, WWE.com can now confirm. The attack occurred as Rollins was heading to the ring to finally confront Triple H, who cost The Architect a WWE Universal Championship opportunity back in August."
Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer has also confirmed the injury.
WWE tweeted this video of The Architect leaving Raw on crutches:
At this point there is no information on the seriousness of the injury or how long it will keep Rollins out of action.
Although all signs point to it being legit, this could still be part of the storyline to really sell the beatdown Rollins received by Joe. Hopefully this is the case, as Rollins missing any significant time could be devastating.
What do you think: is the injury real or part of the storyline?
