Bret Hart Apologizes For Comments

WWE legend Bret Hart is no stranger to having his issues with the company. The Montreal Screwjob ruined his momentum with the company in the '90s, his brother Owen should have been inducted into the Hall of Fame years ago, and Hart simply doesn't like what the product has to offer today.

Last week, Hart attacked The Fabulous Freebirds, calling them drunks while saying they "never drew money, never did anything."

One of the members, Michael Hayes,  responded to Hart's comments and took offence to it. Hart would later apologize to Hayes on his Facebook page. In part, it read:

"I’d like to take this opportunity to formally apologize to Michael Hayes. A while back I made comments about the Freebirds not being as worthy of being in the WWE Hall of Fame as others. It was unfair for me to dismiss their contributions to the industry and they certainly did great things in Texas with the Von Erich Family. "

Given how often Hart's calling somebody in the wrestling business, we're sure more apologies are to follow suit down the road.
