According to wrestlezone.com, the internal discussing in WWE regarding Brock Lesnar and his WrestleMania opponent would have "The Beast" facing Braun Strowman at the big event this April.
This would prove a major disappointment as the obvious choice to face Brock Lesnar should be Bray Wyatt. With recent events unfolding between Lesnar and The Wyatt Family, a feud seems likely.
However, placing Braun Strowman in the ring for his debut WrestleMania match against Brock Lesnar has absolutely no appeal. Word has it that Triple H is high on Strowman due to his size. (Yeah, the size issue once again)
Of course, not all WWE official are sold on the idea as there are those backstage who feel Braun Strowman is simply not ready for a match of this magnitude. Besides, how would this bout prove entertaining?
Bear Hug Hold from Braun Strowman. Suplex City from Brock Lesnar. F5! Match over. Not much of a contest. Whereas, Bray Wyatt - who is a much better in-ring performer than Strowman - would make things interesting at AT&T Stadium.
Bray Wyatt has already squared-off with John Cena and The Undertaker - in losing efforts - in his first two WrestleMania matches. Therefore, Wyatt understands what it takes to perform on the big stage with a company mega-star.
The only scenario in which fans of The Wyatt Family would come to terms with Brock Lesnar vs. Braun Strowman would be if somehow Bray Wyatt was involved in the WWE World Heavyweight Championship picture heading into WrestleMania.
What are the odds of that happening?
