Bullet Club Tease Stone Cold Steve Austin Or Hulk Hogan For Wrestle Kingdom

The Young Bucks and Marty Scurll have two very big names in mind to accompany them for their Wrestle Kingdom 12 entrances.

Wrestle Kingdom 12 is less than three months away. For those who don't know, Wrestle Kingdom is the biggest show on New Japan Pro Wrestling's calendar. It's effectively their WrestleMania and is probably the biggest non-WWE show of the year. In recent years, the event has featured matches such as AJ Styles versus Shinsuke Nakamura plus the very first match between Kenny Omega and Kazuchika Okada (which was given a six-star rating on Dave Meltzer's five-star rating system).

Naturally, with it being the biggest show of the year for NJPW and with such a big act to follow with the matches that have happened at the event in the last few years, the wrestlers involved want to impress. With it being New Japan, the  Bullet Club will play a prominent role in the pay-per-view. Well, a few of its members have some ideas on how to make WK12 the biggest one yet.

Bullet Club members The Young Bucks recently spoke with Sports Illustrated. During the interview, they relayed that they would like to include the one and only Hulk Hogan in their entrance at January's Wrestle Kingdom. Fellow Club member Marty Scurll has other ideas though and would like to include someone a little different. "One who likes to drink a little beer, raise a little hell" is how Scurll put it.

While all three men are probably merely trying to generate interest in their Wrestle Kingdom matches, it's not beyond the realms of possibility that either Hogan or Austin could join them. The Hulkster has recently expressed his desire to return to the business, while Scurll is friends with Stone Cold after appearing on The Texas Rattlesnake's podcast not so long ago.

On the other hand, it is really more likely that this is hype for the sake of hype. There is still the not so small issue of how fans would react to Hulk Hogan if he were to return, even in New Japan. Plus Austin doesn't seem like he's the kind of guy nowadays who would fly all the way to Japan just to effectively act as somebody's valet. Nevertheless, if either happens, there's no doubt that it would make for a pretty memorable moment.
