There was a time that Chyna was considered to be the top female talent in all of wrestling. While she wasn't in the best place when she tragically passed away, that doesn't change the fact that she is regarded as a performer of legendary status. Chyna inspired generations of female performers who came after her.

During her tenure in pro wrestling, she faced a multitude of wrestlers in the ring, both male and female. While some of those matches have become part of her iconic career, others have been lost to the history books and forgotten by fans. That doesn't mean they weren't still great matches.

10 Dean Malenko

Known as "The Man of a Thousand Holds", Dean Malenko is a legendary wrestler whose career has seen him work with NWA, WCW, WWE and AEW. In addition to being an incredible in ring performer, he has also established himself as a respected producer, booker and trainer.

Malenko faced off with Chyna on several occasions, though mostly as part of tag teams. They did have a couple of singles matches. Malenko picked up the win in both bouts, making him one of the few male competitors she faced and didn't defeat at least once.

9 Karen Jarrett

The vast majority of Chyna's in ring career was spent with the WWE, which is how fans remember her. But after her departure from WWE in 2001 she spent some time in NJPW before largely retiring from the ring.

What a lot of have fans have forgotten is that she briefly returned to wrestling in 2011 as part of TNA. She and Kurt Angle teamed up to face Jeff Jarrett and Karen Jarrett at the Sacrifice pay-per-view. Chyna and Kurt came out on top, making Jeff and Karen her last opponents in what would be her final match.

8 Jushin Thunder Liger

There are few wrestlers in the world who have achieved the iconic status of Jushin Thunder Liger. Debuting in 1984, the man retired in 2020 and was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. While he is closely identified with NJPW, Liger has wrestled for major promotions around the globe, accumulating dozens of championships and awards.

Chyna and Liger shared the ring on two separate occasions, both times as part of six-person tag matches. They split the wins of those matches that have largely been lost to the history of the business.

7 The British Bulldog

Easily one of the most legendary wrestlers of all time, The British Bulldog was a key member of the WWE roster for many years before his untimely death. He held numerous titles with WWE as well as with several other companies. And his legacy as a member of the Hart family will continue for years to come.

Back on a 1999 episode of Raw, he faced Chyna in a singles match which she won. They would only face each other one other time a few months later as part of a tag team match that paired her with Chris Jericho and him with Kurt Angle.

6 Hardcore Holly

The Holly family were once a relatively prominent faction that has become forgotten by history to an extent. Hardcore Holly, Crash Holly and Molly Holly had a unique and interesting dynamic in the ring, due in no small part to them all being hard hitters.

Chyna wrestled against all of them at one time or another, often as part of tag team situations. But Chyna also had a pair of one-on-one faceoffs with Hardcore Holly himself, which each wrestler picking up a victory. Anyone getting in the ring with Hardcore Holly always had to be ready for a stiff match, and Chyna was no exception.

5 Kenzo Suzuki

After the end of her WWE career in 2001, Chyna made her way to Japan in 2002 where she had a relatively brief but productive stint with NJPW. While there, she was involved in two separate tag team matches against the legendary Kenzo Suzuki. While he's best known for his work with AJPW, he worked with NJPW early in his career.

While Chyna's team lost both matches, one of them actually saw her partner with The Great Muta. Well, it wasn't so much The Great Muta as it was a completely different person posing as The Great Muta. It was still a solid match, though.

4 The Godfather

Charles Wright's wrestling career has been long and varied, with him going through several gimmick changes over the years. While he achieved success as Papa Shango, Kama and Kama Mustafa, he is best known to most wrestling fans as The Godfather. Calling this gimmick a fan favorite would be a huge understatement.

The Godfather and Chyna faced off twice, once as part of a tag team match and once in a singles match. Chyna came out on top in both bouts, picking up a win in the tag team match alongside the late Eddie Guerrero.

Throughout her WWE career, Chyna had a lot of great rivalries, with both male and female competitors. These feuds produced a lot of excellent matches. But a lot of fans have forgotten how many of them were against Val Venis.

While the pornstar/wrestler gimmick got a little stale over the years, that doesn't change the fact that the man behind it was a talented performer. He and Chyna had many matches over the years, including more than a few singles bouts. Looking back at her record, Chyna and Val actually had a relatively prolific rivalry,

2 Hiroshi Tanahashi

There have been times that NJPW's Hiroshi Tanahashi has been considered to be the best wrestler in the world. And even when someone else takes that crown, it should be assumed that this man is in the top five. He's just that good.

On three occasions in NJPW, Chyna and Tanahashi stood across the ring from each other as part of different teams. The last of those matches saw Tanahashi team up with Kenzo Suzuki to face her and the fake version of  The Great Muta. Hiroshi's team came out on top of two out of three of those matches.

As a member of the legendary Anoa'i family, Rikishi has made a huge mark on the wrestling industry. And not just by backing his butt into people's faces. Not only has he held several championships, his sons, The Usos, have become one of the greatest tag teams in the world. As long as they're both healthy, of course.

Rikishi and Chyna faced off twice with Rikishi being on the winning side of both matches. They did have one singles match, but they were also part of a trios match that saw Too Cool pick up the victory.
