8 Competing in The Challenge: Champs vs. Pros

MTV casted CM Punk for their unique project of the television series The Challenge: Champs vs. Pros. The concept of the show featured the top reality show stars from MTV shows like Real World, Road Rules and The Challenge competing against professional athletes.

Punk joined names like Shawne Merriman and Candice Wiggins as the pros. Unfortunately, the run of Punk ended quicker than expected. Punk was eliminated in the fourth episode of the show. A weak elimination on an MTV reality show was quite the disappointment.

7 Writing Marvel Comics

The passion for comic books was part of CM Punk’s wrestling career as he sometimes had gear based on superheroes and often shouted “It’s clobbering time” before matches referencing Fantastic Four’s Thing character. Punk had a dream job come his way shortly after leaving wrestling.
