Never shy of expressing his opinion, CM Punk offered two very blunt critiques while watching Raw on Monday night, comments sure to stir things up.

Punk will likely get a ton of time on January 21st to talk about the Liv Morgan and Lana love triangle storyline that started on Monday when he's back with Fox for WWE Backstage. Until then, he'll just need to use Twitter to share his thoughts on an angle that a ton of fans are already cringing about.

To close Monday's Raw, the Lana and Bobby Lashley wedding came to a chaotic end as Liv Morgan made her return to WWE and expressed her love for Lana. Being potentially the most high-profile, exclusive and openly female love storylines in WWE history, there are a lot of ways WWE can do a good thing for the LGBQT community, or really screw this up. Punk doesn't think WWE got off on the right foot.

Saying, "WWE needs to hire people who actually understand what representation means to the audience they’re trying to reach," he was suggesting the way the writers presented this new development in the story, it doesn't seem terribly realistic. He then added, "But what do I know? I’m a bear, I suck the heads off fish."

But, Punk wasn't done there. During one of the opening segments of Raw, Kevin Owens, Samoa Joe and others started the show off with a bang but Punk wasn't a fan of one particular spot. Owens jumped off the top rope onto an awaiting group of security in a spot that wasn't timed quite right and while done safely, in real life there would have been plenty of time for the crowd to simply move.

Punk wrote, "Can we stop with the giant group of people standing around looking to catch someone while someone jumps on them? Leave that sh-t in this decade. Dare ya."

Punk Has A Point

There are some who will love the new twist in the Lana and Liv story while others will be watching with a close eye waiting for WWE to do something that offends an entire segment of the population.

As for the wrestling spot, that one probably isn't going anywhere. It's the same time of criticism brands like AEW and independent shows face on a weekly basis and seems to be the only way for wrestlers to get their insanely high-flying aerobatic spots in.
