Sky Bet has released early odds for the winner of the 2020 men's Royal Rumble match, and only one Superstar stands a better chance than CM Punk.

CM Punk (sort of) returned to WWE a couple of weeks ago and the world hasn't stopped talking about it since. That's despite Punk's new role being a part-time one on Backstage, and nothing that involves an in-ring return. Punk has also attempted to hammer home that he won't be wrestling again, and that he is an employee of FOX, not WWE.

Punk knows as well as everyone else that no matter how much he says he won't wrestle again, fans will still speculate. He did say he would never have anything to do with wrestling again after all. Many fans, including Seth Rollins, are hoping Punk returns in time for the main event match at WrestleMania 36.

If that is indeed the plan, then chances are Punk will return at the 2020 Royal Rumble. It would mark the sixth anniversary of his last match in WWE. Just imagine the reaction to Punk entering the match at number 30. If your biggest wish for 2020 is to see Punk return and win the men's Royal Rumble match, then we have a little bit of good news for you.

Sky Bet has released some very early odds regarding who are the current favorites to win next year's men's Royal Rumble match. Roman Reigns is the favorite, but Punk is a close second at 9/2. Clearly, Sky Bet knows something we don't. Either that or they are big Punk fans just like the rest of us and have gotten caught up in the hype. Bray Wyatt, Finn Balor, and Kevin Owens round off the top five, in that order.

As for the only man Sky Bet believes to be more likely than Punk to win, WWE may have shot itself in the foot if the plan is for Reigns to win. The Big Dog is finally in a place where fans aren't booing him every time his music hits. If he wins the men's Royal Rumble, whether Punk is in it or not, we may see a return to fans hating on him all over again.
