After being told he couldn't have The Undertaker, and hitting a brick wall when trying to book Vince McMahon, Conrad Thompson tried to book his brother for Starrcast.

Although unaffiliated with AEW, every one of the promotion's big shows has been accompanied by a wrestling convention called Starrcast. Conrad Thompson has run the conventions alongside the PPVs and so far, all four have been huge hits. The guest list is star-studded and Thompson always pulls out all the stops to make sure the weekend features a few surprises.

Despite Starrcast IV taking place recently, Thompson continues to reveal details about previous events. The Podfather managed to book The Undertaker for Starrcast II but had The Deadman pulled from the event by WWE. Thompson tried to use the opportunity to work with WWE, saying that if they replaced Taker with a Superstar of his choice, he would donate 100% of the proceeds made from the appearance to Connor's Cure.

Apparently, there was some back and forth between the two parties during which Thompson requested Vince McMahon make an appearance. After it became clear that WWE wouldn't be willing to give Thompson anything close to an adequate replacement for The Undertaker, the mortgage guy took matters into his own hands. He revealed what happened next during the latest episode of 83 Weeks.

Thompson tried to book Kurt Angle's brother Eric, and also Brian Lee who played the Fake Undertaker during the 1990s. After coming up short on both of those, he used a "mutual friend" of his and Eric Bischoff's to get in touch with Vince's brother, Roderick McMahon. "I made him a pitch, we had a discourse back and forth, and then I got a frantic call from Bruce [Prichard]," Thompson explained.

Word had gotten back to WWE that Thompson had been in touch with Vince's brother and clearly, the chairman was not happy about it. Any progress made between the two parties likely fell through at that point. Very little is known about Roderick McMahon as he has never gotten involved in the wrestling business, so a Starrcast panel with him would have been fascinating.
