The men and women of NXT 2.0 are very much on the road to In Your House, and a lot of the action that will go down a week on Saturday was furthered on Tuesday night. Bron Breakker faced off against Duke Hudson in the main event, a match that was arguably better than his IYH showdown with Joe Gacy will be. Gacy was watching the whole thing from ringside, distracting Breakker so much that he inadvertently hit Hudson with a steel chair and got himself disqualified.
The Breakout Final Is Set
While Breakker knows all too well who he will be up against at In Your House, Mandy Rose still does not. She had Indi Hartwell to deal with this week, and thanks to Kayden Carter and Katana Chance, she didn't even have the rest of Toxic Attraction at ringside to help her out of a potentially sticky situation. Rose did pick up the win though, and it looks like Wendy Choo will be her next challenger.
The winner of the Women's Breakout Tournament will likely have title aspirations too, and we now know who the two finalists are. Unfortunately, due to an injury, tournament favorite Nikkita Lyons was removed from the bracket and replaced with Tiffany Stratton. Stratton has really lucked out, only needing one win to get into the final. It wasn't easy, but Stratton pulled it off, beating Fallon Henley on Tuesday.
Fyre, Lopez, And Jade
On the other side of the ring from Stratton in the final will be Roxanne Perez. The still relatively new signing handily beat Lash Legend in her semi-final to progress in the tournament and is now the stand-out favorite to win the whole thing with Lyons out of the picture. Elsewhere in the women's division, Alba Fyre defeated Elektra Lopez, and the defeated party then proceeded to upset Cora Jade who was watching on from the crowd with a box of popcorn.
Elsewhere on this week's NXT 2.0, the issues between The Family and Legado Del Fantasma continued to escalate, and Wes Lee probably regrets reiterating to Sanga that he didn't like the comments he made about his size. The full list of results from this week's episode can be found below.
