The next WWE pay-per-view event is No Mercy. It is a Raw branded pay-per-view and it takes place this Sunday, Sept. 24, 2017, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. The fun is still five days away, but Bet Wrestling has just reported on the early betting odds for the night.

In the past, you might have felt a little more comfortable betting on the favorites, but some of the odds for this year's SummerSlam PPV were way off and there were some big upsets throughout the night.

Going into SummerSlam, Shinsuke Nakamura was a big favorite with -500 odds over Jinder Mahal +300. Also, Rusev -200 was favored over Randy Orton +150 and The New Day -180 were favored over The Usos +140. Well, as we know now, all three of those "favorites" ended up losing their matches. So, with that in mind, it is going to be interesting to see if the oddsmakers do a little better this time around than they did back in August.

The odds that Bet Wrestling reported on come from the Paddy Powers Sportsbook ,and at this point Paddy has all current champions as favorites, although maybe not as heavily as you might expect (oddsmakers are possibly being a little cautious due to the SummerSlam surprises).

Although Paul Heyman called his client the underdog for his match at No Mercy, the heaviest favorite is Brock Lesnar. The Beast Incarnate has -300 odds compared to his opponent Braun Strowman at +187. The second best odds to win go to the tag team of Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins who have -225 odds versus Sheamus and Cesaro at +150

As for the other two matches with belts on the line: The Miz -110 vs. Jason Jordan -137 makes it a pick 'em situation. And Raw Women's Champion Alexa Bliss is actually at +120 - which is technically an underdog number, but she does have four opponents in her Fatal Five Way match and they are all bigger underdogs: Sasha Banks +225, Nia Jax +250, Bayley +300, Emma +1200.

And with the non-championship matches, Roman Reigns -200 is a current favorite to defeat John Cena +150 and Finn Balor is favored -187 over Bray Wyatt +137.
