Triple H brought out the big guns - quite literally - during NXT's invasion of SmackDown on Friday night, rolling in with D-Generation X atop a military Jeep.

The show's main event saw Bobby Roode, Dolph Ziggler and Baron Corbin take on Roman Reigns, Shorty G and Ali, with Corbin's team claiming the win. That would be followed by the Raw men's Survivor Series team emerging through the crowd, led by Seth Rollins, and sparking a brawl that more SmackDown stars had to run out to make the save.

While that was going on, DX made their entrance from backstage on said Jeep, flanked by several members from the NXT and NXT rosters. And of course, that resulted in an even bigger brawl.

That wasn't to be all, however, and things got even more convoluted after the cameras went off. With the brawl snuffed out, Triple H, Shawn Michaels and Road Dogg engaged the crowd from the ring alongside Corbin, whom they had invited to join them. The jokes were going around pretty casually, before DX proceeded to turn on Corbin with a shock assault.

Road Dogg administered a few punches, setting the King of the Ring up for some Sweet Chin music from HBK ahead of a Pedigree from The Game. The crowd seemed to be immensely pleased with the display and they would earn a goodbye from DX, who wouldn't leave without taunting Corbin.

SmackDown's The Show We Need To Be Watching?

WWE appears to be pulling out all the stops, especially where SmackDown is concerned. Of course, the show needs special attention, having recently moved to FOX.

NXT had to be called upon to save the day after most of the roster got stuck in Saudi Arabia following Crown Jewel a few weeks ago and they've maintained a healthy presence since then.

As for DX showing up, let's hope that's not the last we see of the iconic crew.
