Being a WWE superstar is an incredibly demanding job. On top of being on the road for 300 days a year and rarely seeing their family, many WWE stars are away from their own children for that amount of time as well. This means that they miss some of their biggest milestones throughout their life.

Some of these stars are able to juggle their family and their jobs quite well. Others (both current and former WWE superstars) have been referred to as deadbeat dads a number of times since they haven't had a lot of contact with their children or they haven't set a very good example to them. Life on the road often left these men either unprepared for or uninterested in raising children. Others have made bad decisions on the road that hurt their families.

There are a number of WWE stars who are or have been skipping out on their responsibilities over the past few years. There are also a few which put them to shame because of how far they will go to always ensure they can spend time with their children. These fathers are known to be great dads by fans the world over and should be seen as the gold standard.

The following list looks at 11 WWE dads who are or already have missed some of the most important parts of their children's lives as well as 6 who would do anything to ensure that they were part of it.

18 Good: Kevin Owens

via gramunion.com

Kevin Owens has become one of the most popular bad guys in the WWE. His big mouth and bigger attitude have put an even bigger target on his back for his enemies. The smack-talking prize fighter is known for his mean spirited promos and harassing fans on Twitter. However, his real life persona could not be further from what we all see.

Kevin Owens has been spotted many times wearing Mickey Mouse ears. This is because he often takes his family to Disneyland or DisneyWorld, as his children are huge Disney fans. The fact he sports the funny garment to make his kids happy just shows what a committed father he is. Just don't go making fun of him for it!

17 Bad: Xavier Woods

Via WWE.com

Xavier Woods became a father for the first time last year, merely weeks after Paige's personal tapes that included Woods were leaked online. This obviously caused a rift in his relationship, so much so that Xavier didn't even announce the arrival of his son last year. Instead, he was on Talking Smack and stated that he was now a father, which was the first time that the WWE Universe had heard this news.

There are no images online of Xavier with his child, since his wife was forced to remove her Instagram account when the videos of Paige were first leaked. The whole situation has caused a whole lot of stress for Xavier and his family and it's taking a long time for them to get back to normal. Hopefully the child never finds out about these tapes.

16 Bad: Ric Flair

via cetusnews.com

It's hard to juggle success with family responsibilities, as Ric Flair found out much earlier in his career. The Nature Boy is well-known to have been married and divorced four times throughout his life and has four children. Charlotte who is currently following in her father's footsteps on WWE TV has mentioned a number of times about how her father was never around when she was growing up because of his wrestling commitments.

It is also well-known that Flair got into a huge fight with his son Reid shortly before his untimely passing, which lead to Flair arriving at a number of public appearances with a black eye. Of course, he has tried to do everything he can to make it up to Charlotte throughout her wrestling career, but that doesn't make his past transgressions go away.

15 Good: AJ Styles

Via Dailymotion.com

AJ Styles is the current WWE Champion but he is also a father of four and manages to split his time quite well between WWE and his family. AJ has been in the wrestling world for so long that he has been able to adapt quite well, there was even a story that he turned WWE down a few years ago so that his wife could continue her studies to become a teacher.

Styles has all of his children's names tattooed on his ribs underneath his huge AJ tattoo so that they are always with him in the ring. All of his children's initials are also AJ which is actually quite cute. The way that AJ talks about his wife and children shows just how much he cares about his family and loves being a father.

14 Bad: Stone Cold Steve Austin

via thepinsta.com

Stone Cold Steve Austin is a WWE legend, but when it comes to his own children, he isn't at the same level. Austin struggled in the early 2000s and had a number of issues in his personal life which had an effect when it comes to his relationships with his children.

Austin himself has revealed that he regrets the way it's ended up with his children, but it seems that he hasn't done much to mend the problems that he created. Don't expect to see any cute photos of Austin and his children online anytime soon, since he hasn't even been seen in the same room as his children for a number of years. That fact doesn't look as though it's going to change anytime soon.

13 Bad: Jerry Lawler

Via Youtube.com

Jerry Lawler and his son Brian Christopher have been the subject of a number of rumours in WWE over the past few years, but it is unknown as to what their actual relationship is like outside of WWE. Most of what the WWE Universe currently knows is based on how their relationship was put across on WWE TV.

The commentary legend didn't want anyone to know that he was related to the infamous Grand Master throughout his career and did everything he could to ensure that it didn't become part of a storyline. Lawler is currently in a relationship with Lauryn McBride who is an incredible 39 years younger than him and much closer to his own son's age, which can't have gone down very well with his children.

12 Good: Daniel Bryan

Via Pinterest.co.uk

Daniel Bryan has been a father for less than a year now but he has been much more hands-on than many other fathers in the company at this current moment. The brains behind The Yes Movement is on a much better travelling schedule because he has retired from in-ring competition, but he has ensured that he is always there whenever his wife and daughter need him.

Bryan's lifestyle choices haven't been pushed on Birdie either, which is definitely the sign of good parenting. Birdie was inside her first wrestling ring back at The Royal Rumble when Brie shared a video of Birdie in the practise ring backstage, so she could be following in her mother and father's footsteps in the coming years.

11 Bad: Scott Hall

Via Twitter.com

Scott Hall's last few years have definitely been rough. The former Champion has had a well-documented issue with substance abuse and he struggled for a long time with it before he relied on the help from Diamond Dallas Page. Throughout the time Scott was having these problems, his young were forced to witness their father's descent into reliance on substances.

Since he's got clean, Hall has been trying his best to make up for the things that he did in his younger years, but his children will never forget the earlier members of their father and the fact that he divorced and remarried their mother twice during their childhood, which shows just how messed up their lives must have been at that point.

10 Bad: Hulk Hogan

via zimbio.com

Hulk Hogan is one of the biggest legends that WWE has ever created and one of the most recognizable wrestlers in the world, but a career at this level comes with a price since Hogan's family obviously suffered.

Not only that, but he pushes his beliefs on his children rather than putting forward their happiness. This was first witnessed with his daughter Brooke when he wasn't impressed about her choice of partner and then went on a rant about the colour of his skin which included a number of slurs. Hogan obviously has his own beliefs when it comes to who he feels is acceptable to date his children, but he shouldn't have tried to come between his daughter and her boyfriend just because of something so materialistic.

9 Good: Roman Reigns

Via Pinterest.co.uk

Roman Reigns could well be the biggest star in WWE in the next few years and is currently on track to win the Universal Championship for the first time at this year's WrestleMania, but he is someone who has never let his achievements go to his head. Roman still makes time to see his daughter and his two sons whenever he has free time and tries his best to keep them out of the spotlight and away from the WWE Universe.

Reigns daughter Joelle was used on WWE TV a few years ago to ignite a feud between Bray Wyatt and Reigns but the star wasn't best impressed with his daughter being used by the company and ensured that he had that entire storyline shut down as soon as he got backstage. As well as being a loyal and responsible father, Reigns is also very protective of his family.

8 Bad: Dusty Rhodes

Via tbo.com

Dusty Rhodes is another legend much like Ric Flair who was forced to sacrifice a lot of his family life when he was climbing the ranks in the wrestling business much earlier in his career. Rhodes two cons Cody and Goldust followed their father into the business which was the only time the older Goldust was able to finally spend time with his father.

There are also reports that it was down to Dusty that Goldust's relationship with Terri Runnels didn't work out because the WWE Hall of Famer was spreading rumours about her infidelity and telling his son that she was a golddigger. Terri did later go on to cheat on her husband, but she stated that she was pushed to it because of the constant pressure that Rhodes put on their relationship.

7 Bad: Jake Roberts

Via Pinterest.co.uk

Jake Robert has been very outspoken about the struggles he has faced in his life, which includes the abuse that he was subjected to whilst he was much younger. Roberts was able to use this pain throughout his career and cut some of the greatest promos because of it, but it affected his relationship with his own children for a number of years.

Roberts has eight children and his addiction to substances that helped him deal with his past problems were the reason why he was unable to create good relationships with his children. He has managed to rekindle the relationship he should have with some of his children over the years since he's got clean and refocused his life, which is a start.

6 Good: Goldberg

Goldberg returned to WWE back in 2016 for the first time in more than a decade and declared that it was based on the fact that he wanted his son to see him in a wrestling ring for the first time. Goldberg then brought his son into the ring with him at every possible occasion so that he could ensure that he was always part of the moment.

The bond between the former Universal Champion and his only son is quite beautiful to see and his son's happiness meant so much to him that he brought himself back to the company for a short stint so that he could become a superhero in his son's eyes, which shows just how much his son's opinion matters to him.

5 Bad: Kevin Nash

Via nbcmiami.com

Kevin Nash is a WWE Hall of Famer and someone who many of the WWE Universe look up to, but Nash has his own skeletons that he tries to keep hidden, which include the reason why he his legends contract was suspended back in 2014.

He got into an altercation with his own son over something that he had said to his mother and was then arrested for it. Obviously, the charges were later dropped and Nash was welcomed back to WWE but it was a news story that announced to the world the fact that Nash's son has obviously got out of hand over the past few years and Nash's only response was to get physical, which isn't the best answer to this situation.

4 Bad: Vince McMahon

Via sportzwiki.com

Vince McMahon is obviously a very busy man, which is why Stephanie and Shane raised themselves throughout their younger years because they knew that their father was someone who needed to be away from home a lot of the time. Since they've gotten older it seems that the relationship hasn't improved much either if the matches between Vince and his daughter are anything to go by, since it's less than acceptable for him to choke her out with a pipe.

McMahon's rumoured affairs have also perhaps been a huge problem throughout his career since Linda has always been seen as the loyal partner by his side whilst he's found every way he can to be in storyline relationships with some of the most attractive women in WWE history, which isn't a great example to set to his son.

3 Good: Mick Foley

Via Youtube.com

Mick Foley is known as the Hardcore Legend to many members of the WWE Universe, but to his family he is the perfect kind of father. Mick is one of the only legends in WWE history to have never been linked to any kind of scandals backstage since he has always been loyal to his wife Collette and wanted to set an example to his children.

Holey Foley showed just how close the family are and even when his daughter started dating a clown and decided that she wanted to be a WWE superstar, he found a way to support her through it. Foley is definitely putting a number of WWE father's to shame when it comes to the way he's able to support his family.

2 Bad: Bray Wyatt

via instagram.com/twitter.com

Bray Wyatt may be seen as something of a bad guy by the WWE Universe right now because of the fact that his affair with WWE ring announcer JoJo Offerman was made public knowledge last year and it has led to his wife filing for divorce. Wyatt has two young children and this likely will have a huge effect on them, as his wife Samantha has publicly noted on Instagram.

She shared a message online last year expressing how much his public affair has hurt her and their family. Photos have still surfaced of Bray Wyatt enjoying time with his kids, but it is clear there is still serious damage done by his actions. Hopefully his kids can grow up to forgive him. It doesn't seem like their mother ever will.

1 Good: Titus O'Neil

via lifeofdad.com

Titus O'Neil may not get too much love from the WWE creative team, but he definitely gets a lot of love from his family. Titus is always seen asa great father, and his work for various organizations and his strong family-first mentality make him a great dad.

It is unfortunate that he hasn't had quite the success in WWE that a man of his build or talent should have. Despite this, his family is right there to support him and he appears to always be there for them. Titus is really the kind of person WWE always preaches their respect for, so it is surprising and slightly disappointing that he hasn't quite broken through to that next level on WWE TV.
