Daniel Bryan is one of the finest wrestlers in the world and is a shoo-in for being a future WWE Hall Of Famer. He is immense inside the ring and equally as impressive outside of it, as he is able to reinvent himself time and time again. From being the most loveable babyface in the company to turning into an annoying, arrogant heel, Bryan can do it all.

He has sported many looks over his career, from being a clean-cut hard-hitting submission specialist in Ring Of Honor to becoming the long-haired loveable babyface the crowd adored in WWE.

10 NXT Daniel Bryan

The Miz served as Daniel Bryan's mentor during NXT Season 1.

After leaving ROH as one of the best indie wrestlers in the world, Bryan made the big move to WWE. However, when Bryan arrived, he was in a very different NXT which was seen more as a game show than a legitimate brand, he was made to look like a joke.

He was portrayed as the most generic, boring babyface on the show with Miz and Michael Cole constantly mocking him. It was a disgrace that WWE made such a talented wrestler debut in that manner.

9 SmackDown General Manager

After being forced to retire due to concussion back in 2016, WWE decided to make Bryan SmackDown GM. It was a way to keep him on WWE programming and repay him for everything he did in the company.

However, it just wasn't the same. Fans loved seeing him every week but it was agonizing not being able to see him wrestle. He delivered some amazing promos during this time namely with The Miz on Talking Smack.

8  Intercontinental Champion

Once again, this one was short-lived as Bryan was forced to retire shortly after winning the IC Title. However, he looked like a million bucks with the long knotted hair and he for sure needs to bring it back. It was also a nice moment to see him win the belt in a seven-ma ladder match at WrestleMania 31.

However, this was a memorable title reign for all the wrong reasons. As he held the belt for a short period of time and was unable to defend it often due to suffering from a series of concussion-related injuries. Bryan eventually had to relinquish the title due to his injuries, canceling his first pay-per-view IC Title defense and vacating the gold. As a result of his injuries, the former champion wouldn't be able to wrestle for almost four years.

7 United States Champion

The US Title just suited Bryan perfectly. At Night of Champions 2010, he won the United States Championship from The Miz. The A-Lister was Bryan's first real feud with WWE and their rivalry played out amazingly. After winning the belt, he put on numerous brilliant matches against the likes of Dolph Ziggler and John Morrison.

Bryan then became quite the ladies man, as The Bella Twins aimed for his affection by flirting and accompanying him at ringside. It was then revealed that he was secretly dating Gail Kim as Bryan had three women vying for him.

6 Return From Retirement

Bryan Danielson after he announced his in-ring return

Daniel Bryan's return to wrestling was a giant shock and pleasant surprise for WWE fans. His first match back was teaming with Shane McMahon to beat Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens at WrestleMania 34 with Bryan not missing a beat. Bryan was still in great form and looked amazing in his return from retirement.

He proved he was still one of the best in the world and it was a joy to see him competing again. However, soon after his return to the ring, Bryan had poor feuds with the likes of Big Cass and The Bludgeon Brothers. But it was just good to have Bryan back.

5 World Heavyweight Champion

Bryan won the Money In The Bank briefcase back in 2011 and cashed it in to become the new World Heavyweight Champion. It was amazing to see Bryan finally win a world title in WWE which was well deserved. It was a good run for Bryan but could have been so much better.

Bryan became an arrogant, overconfident heel during this run and it was seriously entertaining. He was accompanied to the ring by AJ Lee who would help him retain his title on a number of occasions. However, Bryan's look from this time period doesn't rank higher as he was made to look like a chump losing in 18 seconds to Sheamus at WrestleMania 28.

4 ROH Bryan Danielson

Before his time in WWE, Daniel Bryan would go by his real name Bryan Danielson while working for Ring of Honor. This run is what put him on the map as he had utter classics time and time again with the likes of Seth Rollins and Nigel McGuiness.

He was a clean-cut badass who put on wrestling clinics with however he stepped in the ring against. As a result, he held the ROH World Title for a staggering 15 months and was simply unstoppable.

3 Team Hell No

This is by far the most hilarious version of Daniel Bryan during his wrestling career. He formed the mast random, bizarre tag team with Kane and it ended up becoming comedy gold. The two went through anger management together, became best friends, and won the WWE Tag Team Titles.

Some of the segments the two performed together are the funniest in recent WWE history and are must watch for any wrestling fans. Bryan was still as badass in the ring as ever but was also hilarious and loveable outside of it.

2 Yes! Movement

The Yes! Movement is one of the greatest examples of fan involvement in wrestling history. Fans became sick and tired of Bryan not getting what he deserved and being shunned time and again by Vince McMahon's booking team.

As a result, Bryan became the biggest babyface in recent times and WWE had to listen to the fans. This all culminated in an iconic WrestleMania moment with Bryan defeating Triple H at the start of the night. Then ending the event by beating Randy Orton and Batista to become WWE World Heavyweight Champion.

1 The Planet's Champion

A controversial choice not to have the Yes! Movement at the top of this list. However, the heel-work by Bryan during this run was utterly phenomenal. He somehow got the fans to turn on him months after returning by becoming the most pompous, arrogant and annoying heel ever.

He would berate fans for being fickle and destroying the planet by being slobs. He also changed the look of the WWE Title, turning it into an Eco-Friendly belt. Whilst, putting on classics with the likes of Brock Lesnar and Kofi Kingston, Bryan was at the top of his game. It was a sensational heel run and the best look of Bryan's career.
