Due to medical reasons, effective immediately, I am announcing my retirement. Tonight on Raw, I'll have a chance to elaborate. #gratitude

It's a heartbreaking day for wrestling fans. Due to ongoing medical concerns revolving Daniel Bryan, the leader of the Yes Movement has announced his retirement.

Daniel Bryan suffered a concussion last year shortly after winning the Intercontinental Title and has since yet to be cleared by WWE doctors.

Bryan leaves the ring at 34 years old as a three-time WWE Champion, as well as having wrestling accolades all over the world. His crowning moment in the wrestling business will forever be standing tall to close out WrestleMania XXX as WWE World Heavyweight Champion.

Hopefully Bryan is able to shed more clarity on the situation on RAW from his home state, in Seattle, Washington.
