Daniel Bryan is already scheduled to return to SmackDown Live this Tuesday. But before he does that, he decided to join the New Jersey Devils at The Prudential Center in order to enjoy the festivities of the first ever WWE Night.

The Devils decided to have a WWE Night in order to draw more fans to their arena while also being able to celebrate all things WWE.

Bryan stopped by the Devils’ locker room to meet some of the players and was given a custom jersey. He also brought the WWE Championship belt along with him so some of the players can take photos with it.

Bryan also fired up the crowd during the game.

WWE brought out a bunch of historic items that they knew their fans would love such as  The New Day’s Pop-cycle, the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal Trophy and the statue of two-time WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair.

The Devils’ mascot even got in on some WWE action by dressing up like John Cena, Stone Cold Steve Austin and Daniel Bryan himself.

Bryan went on to hand out prize packs for the fans throughout the game,  took photos and signed autographs for WWE fans that were in attendance.

WWE will be appearing at The Prudential Center on December 19th for SmackDown Live.

I know I can’t be the only person noticing how much more exposure WWE has been getting from the sports world.

ESPN just released a 30 for 30 documentary on Ric Flair. Many stars like Triple H and The Miz have appeared on different ESPN shows.

While WWE has been popular for such a long time, it looks like they’re still doing their best to tap into other markets in order to expand their fan base.

I would be surprised if WWE doesn’t work with more major sports teams and have more “WWE Nights” in order to continue to promote themselves. It’s a win-win for the company and a team like the Devils.

WWE gets free exposure, while it also draws more fans to every game in turn boosting attendance.
