The story of Daniel Bryan being forced into retirement due to injury is a sad one. A wrestler who loves wrestling perhaps more than anyone, can't wrestle because of concussion issues and instead is working as the WWE SmackDown Live general manager each week. To the fans that know this story well, it appears that job is just a placeholder until Bryan's contract expires, and he's able to leave WWE and wrestle for another promotion.

A question and answer session Bryan held on Twitter recently created speculation that now, more than ever, this is definitely the case. Fans couldn't help but ask questions about his future in the wrestling business and Bryan didn't shy away from answering those questions with enthusiasm.

It started when a fan asked Bryan who his dream opponent would be in WWE. If he could have only one more match, who would he want it to be with? Shinsuke Nakamura was his answer.

Bryan then went on to answer questions like which brand would he wrestle for? (Bryan responded with SmackDown Live). If he would wrestle Kenny Omega (to which Bryan immediately responded yes) and if he'd want to see Cesaro on SmackDown Live, to which Bryan answered yes, but prefaced it with regret that he said the same thing about Sami Zayn and it hasn't worked well for Zayn thus far.

When Bryan was asked about how badly he misses wrestling, Bryan's answer to this question was perhaps the most revealing. Asked to rate it his desire to wrestle again on a scale of 1-10, he said, "11... or higher".

Bryan is clearly not done with wrestling. You can tell it's in his heart, and despite the physical risks, he has ly hang up the boots. The more he talks getting in the ring and thinking up dream matches, he probably wants it too.

Hopefully, his health improves to the point he clears a medical with the WWE. If he's going to wrestle again, most fans want to see it happen in a WWE ring.
