In order to get WWE to clear him Daniel Bryan has had to agree to be extensively tested after every single match he has from this point on.

Daniel Bryan has done everything that he possibly could since being forced into retirement over two years ago to ensure that he hadn't wrestled his last match. We, as fans, likely only know about half of the testing he has had to undergo and the trips he has had to make to various doctors to get the answer that he has been searching for, and that answer is Yes! Yes! Yes!

Ultimately it didn't matter how many doctors cleared him, the only opinion he needed to change was the one of Vince McMahon and the doctors he places his faith in at WWE. Well consider that done as on Tuesday afternoon everyone involved in making the decision at WWE saw fit to break the news that Bryan will wrestle again, and later on that very same day he was brawling with Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn on SmackDown Live.

Judging by the fact KO delivered a devastating powerbomb on to the apron to Bryan you would think that it has returned to a point where the past two years never even happened for Bryan. That is far from the case though and there are a lot of things the former World Champion has had to agree to in order to be able to compete inside a WWE ring again.

According to Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer Bryan has had to agree to be extensively tested after every single match that he has. That will apparently involve him under going impact testing as soon as he gets back to the locker room and also being subject to a neuropsychological evaluation from one of WWE's doctors.

It might sound like it'll be a pain for Bryan to have to undergo that every time he has a match but if it means he can wrestle he likely doesn't mind it at all. It may also further the work that Bryan has already done for others suffering from injuries like his that has led to him being able to wrestle again. The more doctors understand about his injuries the more athletes will be able to work through them and perhaps in the future some wrestlers won't be forced into an unnecessary early retirement.
