Daniel Bryan hasn't exactly been holding back since his in-ring return and if it's up to him he clearly doesn't plan on slowing down any time soon.

It has only been two months since WWE made the ground breaking announcement that Daniel Bryan had been cleared to return to in-ring action, yet it already feels as if the former World Champion never left. Bryan wrestled at WrestleMania 34, battled AJ Styles one on one two days later, and set a record for the longest time spent by a single Superstar in a Royal Rumble match in Saudi Arabia.

You would think, considering the fact that he hadn't wrestled for almost three years, that Bryan would have taken it easy and eased back into things. No chance. On the day that the news of his return broke the former General Manager took Kevin Owens' power bomb onto the ring apron and a month later was wrestling for well over an hour in the Greatest Royal Rumble as mentioned above.

As Bryan put it during his recent appearance on Talk Is Jericho though, if you're cleared, you're cleared. You can either wrestle or you can't so there's no point in WWE treating him like a fragile package. In fact while talking to Chris Jericho about his comeback Bryan revealed that some time in the future he wants the ultimate test in physicality in WWE, a match versus Brock Lesnar.

Bryan did quantify that desire by saying he's not sure what the relationship is between WWE and The Beast Incarnate right now, but if it's possible he would love to go head to head with the Universal Champion. He's not the only one that wants to see that match happen either. Paul Heyman was recently quizzed about his client and Bryan's come back and thinks a match between the two of them would be tremendous.

There are a number of dream matches most fans are currently dying to see now that Bryan is back, and a showdown with Lesnar is definitely one of them. For now though there are plenty of Superstars on SmackDown Live for Bryan to run through. Shinsuke Nakamura, Andrade 'Cien' Almas, Samoa Joe, and that's really just the tip of the iceberg. Whatever the future holds in WWE for Bryan and his fans, it's going to be exciting.
