Wrestling is quite the prolific industry, and as the number one company in that industry, the WWE sees its share of wrestlers come and go with a speed that is nothing short of mind-numbing. Nevertheless, there are those who stay and leave their mark in the company and in the hearts of fans. Wrestlers who will be remembered throughout their entire lives and maybe long on after the die. Male wrestlers do that a lot, but people should not underestimate how many WWE Divas have done the same thing.
It is hard to deny that wrestling is one of the sports in which women are, without a doubt, just if not even more valuable to the company then the men. A lot of that is because they dedicate themselves to their craft and turn their bodies into finely tuned machines that can perform moves we could only dream of. And some of them keep doing that even after they retire. Here are a few examples.
10 Ivory
This list is for wrestlers over 40 who still look as good as they did in their early days with the WWE or the WWF depending on when they started. However, you have to give it to some of these divas because they might be far past 40 and still look nothing short of amazing.
A perfect example of that is Lisa Moretti, a.k.a. Ivory. A University of Southern California graduate who decided to become a wrestler, this diva left her mark in the history of the sport. She was so good that she was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame back in 2018.
9 Gail Kim
Coming close to the cut off, Gail Kim is 42 years old today, but someone who doesn’t know her would have a hard time pinpointing the Canadian wrestler as being anywhere older than 30 or 35 if they push it. The 5’4” beauty that stunned the wrestling world for almost 20 years still looks as good as she did when she debuted with the WWE back in 2008 after spending a long time honing her craft in the independent circuit.
Just like Ivory, Gail Kim became a cornerstone for women wrestlers all across the world and she was recognized as such by being inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame back in 2016.
8 Terri Runnels
Another former diva on our list who has passed the 50-year-old mark and is still looking as stunning as ever is Terri Runnels. This 5-foot-tall Florida native who dazzled the wrestling world from 1990 until she retired in 2004 is 52 years old today. Like the other women whom we have talked about so far on this list, Terri Runnels is nothing short of an industry legend.
She started her career in the WWE back in 1996 as a manager, but became so much more as she would go want to participate with every aspect of the promotion as a host and a wrestler.
7 Stephanie McMahon
This list would obviously not be complete without the addition of the current Chief Brand Officer of the WWE. Stephanie McMahon is someone who came into the company as a legacy. In other words, she became part of the WWE because her father was the owner of the WWE. At least, that’s what most of Stephanie’s haters would like you to believe.
Yeah, her father is the owner, but saying that Stephanie is still a part of the WWE just because of her dad would be nothing short of blasphemy. She is one of the most popular people in the promotion and surely brings in enough to the WWE to account for the more than $1.7 million she supposedly made in salary back in 2015.
6 Debra
Now it is time to turn South to find the next diva on our list who, despite being almost 60 years old, still is one of the most beautiful women who have ever passed through the WWE. We are obviously talking about the Alabama Queen, Debra Marshall.
At 5’5” tall and 129 pounds, Debra was never the most imposing of figures whenever she stepped onto a wrestling ring. Nevertheless, she was so good at the show aspect of wrestling that she got to become a WWF Women’s Champion. Not only that, she also had a few shots to show her acting skills on the big screen.
5 Lilian Garcia
Is it possible to be a diva and a vital part of a wrestling company without ever stepping foot onto the ring and fighting as a wrestler? Yeah, the answer here is definitely yes. We need to look no further than to the grace and glory of Lilian Garcia’s career with WWE. Arguably one of the best ring announcers in the history of the promotion and wrestling as a whole, this industry legend was a part of the WWE family all the way from 1999 until 2018.
She was so good at her job that even after she called it quits with the wrestling juggernaut, she would go on to become a fight announcer for MMA competitions.
4 Lita
Now we are moving towards the place on our list where the hearts of most fans are going to be hit with nostalgia. The four ladies that top our list of divas who have aged like fine wine are nothing short of four of the most beautiful women who ever participated in any sports. Seriously, to verify the truth of that you need to look no further than the fact that the number four on this list is no one other than Lita.
Yes, believe it or not, today Lita is 44 years old. Still, like many of the other ladies on our list it would be very hard for someone to nail her age as she does not look a day older than 30 even if you are shooting high.
3 Sable
Rounding out the top three on our list is none other than an industry legend. Sable might just be the most famous female wrestler of all time. Yes, some wrestling fans might argue otherwise, but when you dive into the world of other people who do not have that much contact with wrestling, Sable might just be the female wrestler most of them know about. Well, if we leave aside Ronda Rousey who is a rather new addition to the wrestling mix.
Either way, when it comes to brand recognition, Sable is almost unmatched. Be it because of her skill in the ring, how much the fans loved her, or her Playboy appearances that got her quite a lot of recognition, she is one of the most famous wrestlers of all time.
2 Trish Stratus
This is another one that might be hard to believe for a lot of wrestling fans. But yes, Trish Stratus is 42 years old today and she will be turning 43 in December. At the beginning of the list we talked a lot about how women have paved the way to becoming a vital part of wrestling because of how professionally they treat the sport and how much time they put into strengthening and developing their bodies and skill.
There is no better example of that than Trish Stratus. The woman is a machine, and even her haters will have to admit that she is one of the strongest and best prepared wrestlers the WWE has ever seen. And even after basically retiring from wrestling, she still dedicates herself to her body and to helping other people as she is a fitness master and the fitness model.
1 Torrie Wilson
Choosing among the top four of this list was really tough. All of them have aged like fine wine and some of them look even better today than they did when they started their wrestling careers. But since the title of the article was divas who aged like fine wine, we could not go anywhere other than to place Torrie Wilson as the number one on our list.
You simply cannot tell that she has aged a day from the time she was 20. Seriously, even if this list was for people in general in all sports, celebrities, anything you can come up with, you will have a hard time finding someone who has aged with the grace that Torrie Wilson has.
