The Rock Promises NBA Star Hilarious Incentive To Win A Championship

Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson and Devin Booker are both famous in very different ways. The former is a wrestling icon and one of the biggest stars in Hollywood, while the latter is among the NBA's top young players.

They're different in lifestyles, but the Phoenix Suns' Twitter account pointed out a strong similarity between the two.

That sparked a hilarious exchange between Rock and Booker himself.

The Rock then made an offer that Booker cannot refuse. It's a deal that many of us can only dream of: A signed fanny pack by the most electrifying superstar in sports entertainment.

It's a fair offer from The Rock, but Booker has a long way to go if he is to earn that signed fanny pack. The 21-year-old shooting guard is averaging an impressive 24.3 points and 4.1 assists per game in 2017-18.

But the Suns recently traded star point guard Eric Bledsoe to the Milwaukee Bucks. Booker's Suns sit at 12-22, sixth-worst in the NBA. With a limited supporting cast to deal with, Booker's chances of winning a championship in the near future are next to none.

Of course, Booker could easily go with Plan B if he's antsy for that signed fanny pack from The Rock. He could always orchestrate a trade to another team. After all, we've seen stars like Jimmy Butler, Chris Paul, Carmelo Anthony, Paul George, and DeMarcus Cousins all get traded this year. Why not Booker?

The Suns haven't made the playoffs since 2010, and they have just one winning season since in the past seven seasons. But Booker is young and just entering his prime years. The Suns have some young talent to build around, including Booker, T.J. Warren, and Josh Jackson, among other players.

For Booker, winning an NBA Championship would be great—it is every player's dream. But how many basketball players get to say they have a Rock-signed fanny pack? It'd be a double whammy if Booker got himself a championship ring.
