Since Edge returned at the Royal Rumble in 2020, the Rated-R Superstar has put together some tremendous performances. Both in the ring and through his promos, his storytelling has been incredible but that was all derailed when he tore his tricep at Backlash.
It put the brakes on his career for now, but it has only raised the excitement for his eventual return. But when he comes back, there is a plethora of talents all eager to work with him, but who would be best as his feud?
10 Randy Orton
Starting with the most obvious storyline for Edge's return, it seems almost inevitable that Randy Orton will be the first man that he faces. Orton put him on the shelf during their Backlash match and beat him in the process.
Since that point, Orton has taken out his best friend Christian and attacked Big Show, which gives Edge plenty to fight for. Having one final match between to truly settle who is the best would be a lot of fun to see.
9 Andrade
Another man who has recently been involved with Randy Orton, helping him out at times is Andrade. He's an incredibly talented wrestler and someone who WWE clearly has high hopes for as a talent and it would be interesting to see him face Edge.
The two men are of a similar size and stature which would provide an intriguing match up. A feud between them would be huge for Andrade's career and could provide something new for Edge, which would be a huge deal.
8 Finn Balor
While Finn Balor isn't currently on the main roster, that doesn't mean they couldn't feud. Many main roster stars have recently appeared on NXT and putting Edge on the show would be a huge deal.
Both Balor and Edge have recently expressed a desire to wrestle each other on social media and having this as a Takeover feud could be incredible. Their in-ring styles would certainly work well together and as two experienced talents they would certainly put on a great match.
7 Daniel Bryan
By the time Edge does make his return, its unknown what the brands will look like as they are ever-changing. Because of that, a potential feud against Daniel Bryan could finally be on the cards for him.
This is a dream match that fans have always wanted to see and they could certainly tear the house down together. They're two of the most popular wrestlers in the company and putting them together would be epic.
6 John Cena
Who knows how many matches John Cena has left in the tank at this point, but he certainly isn't retired just yet. Cena is arguably Edge's greatest ever rival and seeing them do battle one more time would certainly bring back some nostalgia.
Whether Edge returns to his old heel tactics or the two men just have a competitive babyface storyline, fans would certainly love to see these two men compete just one more time.
5 Roman Reigns
The Big Dog might not be around in right now, but by the time Edge makes his return there is a good chance Roman Reigns will be back in the fray. If that is the case, then the two of them feuding would be ideal.
Roman is the biggest name in WWE right now and him and Edge feuding is a big storyline that WWE can deliver. It's something that would certainly get fans interested and the battle of the spears could be very intriguing to say the least.
4 The Fiend
Something that Edge does better than most is telling stories within the ring. He's great at psychology and really bringing fans into what he is doing, which is why The Fiend would be a brilliant opponent for him.
The eerie character is all about storytelling, with this being the best way to get him to connect with fans. Edge could easily work with that type of character and they could really create magic together.
3 Adam Cole
Ever since Adam Cole joined WWE he has consistently been one of the best performers in the company. In the ring and with his character development the Undisputed Era leader has delivered top quality performances and a feud against Edge would only take his work to the next level.
Cole and the rest of his group attacking Edge upon his return could be a perfect way to bring them to the main roster. Fans want to see the faction on Raw and competing against Edge instantly gives them credibility for those who are unaware of them from NXT.
2 AJ Styles
When it comes to dream matches, Edge facing AJ Styles is at the top of many peoples lists. They are two of the greatest to have ever laced up a pair of boots, but outside of their interaction in the Royal Rumble match, they've never wrestled.
AJ as a cocky heel going up against Edge would be an amazing storyline that fans would certainly get interested in. A match would also be fun with both men being strong at telling a story within a match itself.
1 Seth Rollins
There is a huge history between Seth Rollins and Edge that needs to be played out and now WWE has the chance to do it. Rollins threatened to break Edge's neck several years ago during his Authority days, and the physical pay-off was never able to happen due to Edge's condition.
Well, when he returns from his tricep injury there will be nothing stopping Edge from spearing Seth. Because of that, this is easily a dream match and a storyline that could be simply told.
