Enzo Amore doesn’t seem to learn his lesson. Despite numerous reports about why he supposedly has major backstage heat with his colleagues, the Smacktalker Skywalker continues to flaunt his Hollywood lifestyle on social media. And as the only known WWE Superstar to watch Saturday night’s much-hyped Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor boxing match live in Las Vegas, Amore made sure to document on social media the many celebrity sightings he witnessed at the event.
As documented by Wrestling Inc., it wasn’t enough that Enzo Amore took to Instagram before the Mayweather vs. McGregor fight, sharing a photo of the $10,000 ticket he purchased to watch everything live at the T-Mobile Arena on Saturday night. As he watched Mayweather rally after as slow start to defeat a gassed McGregor via TKO in the 10th round, Enzo was snapping selfies with several big-name celebrities, including Chance the Rapper, Jamie Foxx, Steve Harvey, and even Jeremy Piven, whose photo with Amore was accompanied by the hashtag “#summerfest,” in reference to his infamous blooper as a Raw guest host in 2009.
This guys philanthropy is inspiring, working towards modernizing the education system, putting coats on children's backs, & reinventing the business acumen of what it means to be a rapper ... It is so important for those who have a VOICE to understand the RESPONSIBILITY that comes a long with it & the OPPORTUNITY afforded to those that have that voice to try & make the 🌎a better place. I absolutely love this kids movement & his approach in making the world a better place through MUSIC. Keep the music coming! @chancetherapper keep the philanthropy coming! And maintain that vision: "Those who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are usually the ones that do." #ForTheYouth
To Enzo’s credit, one of his Instagram photos with Chance the Rapper had him putting over Chance’s philanthropic efforts, and how he seeks to "make the world a better place through music." Otherwise, he mostly stuck to dropping names, tagging celebrity accounts, or, in Entourage actor Piven's case, referring to his most famous role.
Amore's latest set of celebrity-centric social media posts came soon after several sources reported one of the main reasons behind his backstage heat—his tendency to brag about the famous people he's met and hung out with while living in Los Angeles. This has reportedly rubbed a lot of his Raw colleagues the wrong way, and as Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter put it, Enzo often times "won't shut up" when talking about these things.
This is hardly a surprising development – since the first Enzo Amore backstage heat rumors emerged a few weeks ago, we've seen no sign of remorse from the Certified G. If anything, he appears content to douse the flames of his backstage heat with gasoline, as he keeps doing the same things his colleagues can't stand to see from him. To put it bluntly, we think Enzo is trolling, and it's a shame that he continues to act this way, as his recent move to 205 Live appears to have gone down extremely well with audiences. We won't go as far as to say that Enzo is trying to get himself fired from WWE, but don't be surprised if the company hands him a pink slip if his popularity with the fans starts to wane, after having it up to here and then some with his backstage attitude.
