According to 411Mania, Enzo Amore, continues to claim that he was unaware of any sexual assault allegations against him until they became public. He has also vehemently denied the claims after being fired by the WWE for not disclosing that he was being investigated by the Phoenix Police Department. On May 16, 2018, the Phoenix Police Department ended their investigation of Amore due to insufficient evidence.

Amore recently returned to entertainment as a rapper under the name “Real 1,” which is also his name on Twitter. Yesterday, he somewhat incoherently tweeted, "THE POLICE NEVER CALLED ME. EVER...MY Lawyers EMAILED them: January 22nd 2018. #ArmChairDetective. think you know wtf is goin in smh."

Adding, "I hate to be the 1 to pull the nipple out of the baby's mouth...but NO. I WAS NOT CONTACTED ONCE BY THE POLICE BEFORE JAN, 22nd. #bigFACTS." Which was followed by, "Don't believe my last tweet? Your an armchair detective? The police have an open line call em & ask...they'll call u back in 4 months."

The rape allegations date back to January 22 when the Phoenix Police Department confirmed that Amore, aka Eric Arndt, was being investigated for a sexual assault that was reported in October 2017. Following the confirmation from authorities, Amore was suspended by WWE due to a violation of their zero tolerance policy for sexual harassment and sexual assault. WWE issued a statement saying that the wrestler would remain suspended until the issue was resolved. The following day, a woman accused Amore of raping her in a Phoenix hotel room which led to his firing from the WWE.

Yesterday, in an effort to regain his standing within the entertainment industry, Amore released his debut rap track, aptly named Phoenix in which he disses the girl who brought charges against him, as well as those that believed her. In the song’s video, which addresses his dismissal from the WWE, he raps, “Listen up you sloppy jalopy son of a b****! Sitting on your f****** couch, with your f****** phone in your hand, doing your armchair detective work … thinking you know what the f*** is going on.”

Adding, “They cry tears of joy at my funeral. Still I rise from the ashes like a phoenix. Middle finger to the sky grippin’ my …. consensual penis. When I say that s*** I mean it. F*** you marks for hatin’. This for all my fans waitin’. Entertainment’s hottest free agent. B**** I’m reincarnated.”

In addition to rapping, Amore has been working on a screenplay. When asked if he’d return to wrestling, he said, “I think that my fans who supported me and always did, I owe them a bit of gratitude. If it weren’t for them, I would have never existed in that business.”
