Eric Bischoff has revealed that he gave Vince McMahon his very honest opinion when the WWE boss asked what he thought about AEW's new Dynamite TV show.

Bischoff has since been relieved of his position as SmackDown's executive director and, speaking on his 83 Weeks podcast, the former WCW chief claimed that McMahon asked for an opinion on Dynamite before his exit.

“Vince asked me actually, a couple of days after the first episode aired, what I thought. I was pretty honest with him," he said. "I thought the action was good but I thought what made that show really stand out to me was just how engaged the audience is.”

Bischoff says he prefers Dynamite over NXT as the former has a much better audience.

"The audience, to me, made their show so much better than the NXT show," he explained. "Not that there's anything wrong with the NXT show. The action in the ring was great. The characters are great. There are a lot of great things about it," said Bischoff. "But when you put a live event inside of a small, confined studio kind of like TNA, I don't care how great the action is in the ring. It just doesn't have that big event feel to it."

We're unsure of what the future holds for Bischoff but it wouldn't come as much of a surprise if he were to head to AEW. For the time being, and according to him, he hasn't spoken to anyone from the new company.

"I have not spoken with anybody from AEW," he insisted. "Not one conversation. The last conversation I had with anybody that's currently in AEW was probably Cody Rhodes, and that was about two years ago. It was right after he left WWE and I called him, just to congratulate him and let him know how much I respected his decision."

You Know Who Bischoff's A Fan Of These Days

AEW has been winning the war with NXT so far and it appears that Bischoff is among the crowd who would rather watch Tony Khan's show.

It's also no surprise he would tell McMahon how he really felt about the first episode. Of course, it had nothing to do with his firing (in case you're thinking that).
