The tale of Asuka in WWE has been a pretty incredible one so far. The Empress Of Tomorrow made her debut in NXT all the way back in October of 2015. Fast forward almost two and a half years and the Japanese star is still yet to lose a single match. In that time she has become the longest reigning NXT Women's Champion of all time, eventually relinquishing the title, and also won the first ever women's Royal Rumble match. Fans who were afraid that she wouldn't be used correctly when she arrived on Raw can now rest easy as she has well and truly been established as an almost unbeatable wrestling machine.

Which begs the question when will this incredible streak come to an end? We're at the point now where it will be one of the biggest things to happen in wrestling when it eventually does happen. Whoever is given the honor of being the first person to defeat Asuka in WWE will be shot to the moon on the back of it. The Empress has already beaten pretty much everyone she shares a roster with so it's unlikely that anyone who has already fallen to her will be the first to beat her. That includes the likes of Sasha Banks, Bayley, Alexa Bliss, and most recently Nia Jax.

The next place that a streak ending defeat could happen is WrestleMania 34 and as of right now Asuka's first ever match at The Show Of Shows has not been confirmed. Yes she won the Royal Rumble back in January but before she could select which champion she wanted to face she was interrupted by a debuting Ronda Rousey. Since then it has just been assumed that she will stick with the Raw Women's Championship and take on Bliss but there is every possibility that something more exciting could take place. That's what we're hoping anyway.

The main idea on many fans' minds is that following Fastlane Asuka will reveal that she wants to go after Charlotte Flair and her SmackDown Women's Title. Flair has to defend her championship against Ruby Riott this weekend so if she is going to battle Asuka in New Orleans then it makes sense that WWE wouldn't want to broadcast that until her Fastlane defense is out of the way. Once that is done and dusted Flair could question who is worthy of a match with her at WrestleMania only for The Empress to emerge and finally confirm which championship she wants to go for. If that does happen then who knows what could happen to the streak come April 8th.

If a Flair versus Asuka match does take place at WrestleMania then that would ideally free up Bliss to have a match against her supposed BFF Nia Jax. If that isn't the plan though then it might not be all bad. As it stands the rumor is that Asuka will still take on Five Feet Of Fury for her title. The one thing you can almost guarantee in that situation, which you can't with Charlotte Flair, is that The Empress will win and continue her streak. That will then pave the way for an incredible 2018 for Asuka with her as Raw's Women's Champion. Winning the title in New Orleans would really just be the beginning of it.

Rousey Flair Asuka Bliss

If Asuka can hold on to that championship after winning it at WrestleMania all the way until Survivor Series, which she likely will depending on who she defends it against at SummerSlam, then perhaps that dream match against Flair could happen then. If the PPV has the same format as it did in 2017 then the champions on Raw will take on their SmackDown Live counterparts. Just imagine how established both women would be if they were still their respective brand's champions come November. An Asuka win there could establish her as truly impossible to beat, that is until Ronda Rousey steps up to the plate and finally defeats her at WrestleMania 35.

This fantasy booking scenario is a pretty elaborate one and unfortunately a situation that is unlikely to play out in exactly the way we have laid out. WWE are no longer in the business of incredibly long builds and prefer to pull the trigger on things so that they can quickly create what they perceive to be memorable moments. If they can hold out until WrestleMania 35 with Asuka's streak then it ending would truly be one of the biggest moments in WWE history. For now though we are just eager to find out how her first ever WrestleMania plays out and whether she will be taking on Charlotte Flair or Alexa Bliss on April 8th.
