In recent years, women’s wrestling has seen its popularity grow exponentially. In fact, it’s gotten so big that this past year’s WrestleMania was headlined by female performers. Moreover, a strong argument can be made that WWE’s top star right now is Becky Lynch.

Wrestler's like Lynch, Charlotte Flair, and Bayley are just a few names that are currently helping to build on the momentum currently enjoyed by women’s wrestling. However, as talented as these ladies are, they won’t be on top of the world forever.

This may lead one to wonder, who will carry the torch in the years to come? Fortunately, we’ve got the answers below.

Here are ten females who will likely be the biggest stars in the game come 2025.

10 Tessa Blanchard

Tessa Blanchard is third-generation star and the daughter of Tully Blanchard, who was a member of the legendary Four Horseman. She is currently signed with Impact Wrestling and is a former Knockouts Championship. The 5-foot-5 sparkplug out of Charlotte, North Carolina is also very active on the independent circuit.

It’s hard to believe that Blanchard is only 23-years-old and is already arguably the best female performer not currently signed by WWE. Her skills inside the ring are top-notch, her promos are rapidly improving, and she already carries herself like a star. Blanchard is the total package and will be a high-level performer for WWE or whatever promotion is fortunate enough to have her on their roster in 2025.

9 Liv Morgan

Following a noteworthy run in NXT; Elmwood Park, New Jersey’s Liv Morgan was called up to WWE’s main roster in November of 2017. The 5-foot-3 blonde has a been a member of The Riot Squad, a faction lead by wrestler Ruby Riott, for most of her main roster run.

Morgan has that strange sort of “it” factor that you just can’t teach. When she’s on the screen, it’s hard not to watch. She has been mostly a peripheral character in the early part of her career, but rumor has it that she’s getting a makeover very soon. She’s still only 25 and hasn’t really been given a chance to shine yet. If WWE finds the right character for her and her mic skills continue to improve, then the sky's the limit.

8 Kylie Rae

Chicago, Illinois’s “Smiley” Kylie Rae is a relative newcomer to the business. Though one could never tell by watching her perform, she has only been wrestling since 2016. After taking the independent circuit by storm, the 5-foot-5 starlet recently signed with All Elite Wrestling (AEW). She made her promotional debut at AEW Double or Nothing.

Rae has a ton of charisma and is naturally likable. In terms of persona, she has that cute as button quality about her that appeals to kids and adults alike – kind of like Bayley. The 26-year-old is also extremely athletic. Kylie Rae is a name wrestling fans will be hearing a lot in the years to come.

7 Sasha Banks

Sasha Banks has been one of WWE’s top female's stars for a few years now. The Fairfield, California native is a four-time Raw Women’s Champion, former NXT Women’s Champion, and (along with Bayley) was the first-ever WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion. She has been off WWE television for several months now and appears to have had a falling out with the company.

Given that Banks has already accomplished so much, it’s easy to forget that she is only 27. She already has a ton of experience at the highest level and a gimmick (“The Boss”) that fits her like a glove. It may not be with WWE, but Banks will still be headlining events somewhere in 2025.

6 Bianca Belair

Bianca Belair is a college track and field star turned pro wrestler out of Knoxville, Tennessee. She is a former women’s title challenger in NXT and was undefeated throughout the early portion of her run with the promotion. Belair is a 5-foot-7 powerhouse who has been known to use her ponytail as a weapon inside the squared circle.

The former track star has more raw athletic ability than just about any female on the roster. She has a believable toughness about her that makes her an excellent heel (villain) or babyface (good guy). The 30-year-old has plenty of tools WWE can build around when she becomes a full-time member of the main roster and will, no doubt, be a future star.

5 Taynara Conti

Taynara Conti is one of the bright young stars in NXT. She was also a highly successful judoka (judo practitioner) before becoming a pro wrestler. The 5-foot-5 submission specialist out of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil even participated in the 2016 Olympic trials. She’s been used sparingly in NXT since signing with the company in late-2016 but shows plenty of promise.

Conti's in-ring style, which incorporates a lot of Judo techniques, is unique and helps her stand out. Moreover, she has a marketable look and is a near Olympic-level athlete. She’s just 24 and still needs to work on some things, but she has a lot of potential for growth despite flying a bit under the radar at the moment. If Taynara Conti were a stock, now would be the time to invest.

4 Toni Storm

Toni Storm is talented performer out of Auckland, New Zeland. Despite the fact that she’s only 23, the 5-foot-6, 2018 Mae Young Classic winner has already been in the business for roughly a decade. That’s right; Storm began training to become a pro wrestler when she was just 13. She is also the current NXT UK Women’s Champion.

Storm has wrestled all around the world and has a ton of experience, especially considering her age. She is an excellent in-ring technician and will likely only get better as she continues to develop. The New Zealander is already the most popular female competitor on NXT UK and has shown the ability to connect with any audience, regardless of location. Storm has more than a few WWE women’s title reigns waiting in her future.

3 Alexa Bliss

Columbus, Ohio’s own Alexa Bliss is currently one of the biggest stars in all of WWE. The 5-foot tall grappler already has a resume worthy of the WWE Hall of Fame. She is a five-time WWE Women’s Champion and became the first woman to ever hold both the Raw and SmackDown version of the title.

In truth, predicting the 27-year-old will still be on top in around five years isn’t particularly bold. Bliss has her heel act down to a science, and she also posses excellent mic skills. Bliss has had some injury issues recently, but assuming she’s able to stay healthy, the former champ should still have plenty of good years left.

2 Britt Baker

Britt Baker (aka Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D.) is both a pro wrestler and a dentist. The Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania product made her pro wrestling debut in 2015 and has been making waves on the indy circuit ever since. This past January, Baker signed with All Elite Wrestling (AEW) and debuted for the new promotion at their recent pay-per-view event, Double or Nothing.

Baker’s uses her real-life dental background as part of her in-ring persona, which certainly makes her unique. The 28-year-old  has a very high ring I.Q. and marketable appearance to go with a solid gimmick. She is also dating Adam Cole, so if AEW doesn’t work out, she should have an in with WWE.

1 Paige VanZant

Here is a name that most people probably didn’t expect to see on the list. After all, Paige VanZant isn’t even a pro wrestler. The Dundee, Oregon native is a mixed martial artist who is currently signed with the Ultimate Fighting Championship. She has also appeared on television shows like Dancing with the Stars and recently modeled for the Sports Illustrates Swimsuit Edition.

The 25-year-old has met with Stephanie McMahon in the past, and TMZ Sport reported that she is interested in WWE. VanZant is already a star and has a legitimate MMA background, which should make for a relatively easy transition. If and when Paige VanZant debuts in WWE (or anywhere else) she will almost certainly become a headlining act.
