If there was ever any doubt that Bray Wyatt doesn’t have the vivid imagination of a truly sick individual, then look no further than The Firefly Fun House “match,” pitting John Cena against The Fiend himself. Thanks to the conditions of the world right now, it allowed for a completely trippy sequence.

Bray Wyatt showed John Cena that the road to absolute success is paved with a lot of scary failures. Depending on your tastes as a fan, you either loved it or never want to see another Firefly Fun House match. Here are some of the coolest callbacks.

10 Welcome To WrestleMania!

From the moment John Cena came out, the match was on. Cena’s entrance features him mugging for the camera, showing off a rally towel and charging to the ring. Usually at WrestleMania, he’ll even stop to welcome everyone to the show.

But on this night, once he did that, he opened a doorway to a strange dimension where anything could happen. Not the WWE, but The Funhouse.

9 “You Can Look, But You Can’t Touch”

The first trip down Cena’s dark memory lane featured him in the very tights he marched to the ring wearing in 2002. He marched down to the ring that night on Smackdown to face off against Kurt Angle.

But now, Wyatt was waiting for him. Wyatt shot right at Cena’s heart, and after ducking a clothesline slap, started singing his ex-fiancé, Nikki Bella’s theme song.

8 Ruthless Aggression

The match started with Cena in the darkness and the devil himself, Vince McMahon appeared. Similar to that fateful night in 2002, the puppet asked John if he had “Ruthless Aggression?”

Considering he debuted at the beginning of the era and survived and thrived in it, it was shocking to hear that Cena was on the verge of getting “Future Endeavored.” Wyatt was able to twist all of this for his own twisted sense of humor.

7 Saturday Night’s Main Event

Wyatt then transported us all back to the golden age of WWE, the time that Cena and many fans got hooked - the Hogan Era and Saturday Night’s Main Event. Wyatt and Cena both tossed in all sorts old-school promo lingo as Cena lifted weights until he couldn’t lift his arms to swing at Wyatt.

“Whatcha gonna do brother, when Egomania runs wild on you?!”

6 The Doctor Of Thugonomics

The fans were then reintroduced to the Doctor Of Thugonomics. Cena quickly realized that he was only able to speak in rhyme and did his best to cut into Wyatt’s psyche, referencing Husky Harris and hurlings some of his old-school epithets at Wyatt, including a bag of nuts. Bray had co-opted Cena’s chain to level him.

5 Eater Of Worlds

The Firefly Fun House wasn’t just a trip down Cena’s memory lane, but Wyatt’s as well. The Eater Of Worlds has made an appearance here too.

He appeared with his rocking chair, sheep, and once again spoke of Sister Abigail who once guided baby Bray. But now, she’s just a twisted puppet in the Funhouse.

4 WrestleMania XXX

Wyatt’s initial run had fans believing in a whole new star on the horizon when Wyatt came across John Cena at WrestleMania XXX.

WWE even had Mark Crozer play him to the ring live at the show. Cena won the match, with set off all of these events six years later. Wyatt once again handed Cena a chair to use. To do what he should have done years earlier. This time Cena swung for the fences, “turning heel” in the process.

3 The nWo

Bray Wyatt did his best Eric Bischoff impression when he introduced “Hollywood” John Cena. Cena came out in full New World Order regalia, and was strumming a WCW world title on his way to the ring.

The two even had a “too sweet” moment in the ring. It was the last straw for Cena as he grabbed Wyatt and tried to punch him out. Instead, he was actually swinging into Huskus The Pig Boy. After snapping, it was finally time for The Fiend to appear.

2 “Cena Sucks”

For most of his entire career, John Cena was supposed to be the golden boy, the big babyface that the fans loved and cheered for as their hero. Instead, the fans would chant “Cena Sucks.”

As Cena swung at the Pig, a montage of all of his great failures played - “If Cena Wins, We Riot” from ECW One Night Stand. But it didn’t stop there, CM Punk leaving with the belt, Lesnar destroying Cena, Cena lifting Roman’s hand after being defeated, losing to The Rock, and many other failures flashed across the scene.

1 Cena’s Promo Turned On Him

John Cena tried to go for the jugular in a promo on Smackdown, stating that he would end the most overhyped and over-privileged superstar ever. But Cena’s promo was turned on himself as The Fiend held him up after delivering the Mandible Claw.

Right before The Fiend delivered a Sister Abigail, Cena’s promo was again played throughout the arena, but this time the focus was on Cena himself.
