WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus remains to this day as one of the most popular female superstars of all time, helping to inspire so many of the current stars seen all across the globe. Stratus’ career as a full-time performer ended back in 2006, but she has returned several times since then.

Over the last 13 years, Stratus has made sporadic appearances, mostly in cameo spots, but has occasionally been a part of a marquee match. Her last 10 matches stretch from 2019, all the way back to 2011, in a variety of different roles and matches, with them varying in quality and significance.

10 Vs Vickie Guerrero

Trish Stratus vs Vickie Guerrero WWE Raw

The result of this match saw Vickie Guerrero defeat the legendary Stratus in a match on Raw. The no disqualification aspect of this match saw the interference of Lay-Cool and Dolph Ziggler be done legally, so this was technically a fair victory.

The match was under three minutes, and provided nothing of any sort of quality, with it being used to set up a six-person match at WrestleMania. It was an angle more than a match, but one thing is for sure – Guerrero did not need to defeat Stratus, and that result being in the history books is a farce, and a huge embarrassment for Stratus.

9 W/ Natalya Vs Becky Lynch & Trish Stratus

Trish Stratus & Natalya vs Charlotte Flair & Becky Lynch

The action in this match wasn’t bad, but the booking was all over the place. Stratus was never once tagged into the match, which left a sour taste for fans, and the result ended up being a disqualification, when Natalya refused to let go of the sharpshooter on Becky Lynch.

The heels were made to team with the faces in a weird dynamic which didn’t make much sense, and the match just ended up being a let-down, with the promise of Stratus not being upheld, as she didn’t get a minute of action, with her upcoming opponent, Charlotte Flair, walking out on the match.

8 W/ John Morrison Vs Dolph Ziggler & Vickie Guerrero

Trist Stratus and John Morrison

This match took place the night after WrestleMania XXVII and was purely there to make the most of having Stratus around by having her compete on Monday Night Raw. With Guerrero not being an in-ring performer, Stratus didn’t see much action.

The back and forth between Morrison and Ziggler was fine, but the whole match was around three minutes, rendering it pretty pointless in the grand scheme of things.

7 W/ John Morrison Vs Dolph Ziggler, Vickie Guerrero, & Lay-Cool

Morrison & Stratus vs Lay-Cool, Guerrero, Ziggler

This was another match which helped to set up the six-person tag at WrestleMania, so having many of the competitors compete against each other before the show felt pointless and cheapened the eventual match at the PPV.

The faces were overwhelmed quickly, but it wasn’t anything special, once again being too short to truly matter. The finish saw Guerrero pin Morrison for the victory, which undermined the usual rules of mixed-tag team action, in which males are supposed to fight the males, and the females can only go against the females. Either way, this wasn’t great, but it did add some tensions to the feud, so that was a minor positive.

6 W/ Mark Henry & MVP vs Jeri-Show & Beth Phoenix

Trish Stratus and MVP WWE Raw

This was initially a tag match between Stratus & MVP taking on Jericho & Phoenix, but upon a DQ and interference from Big Show, it was turned into a six-person tag. This came in a random return to Raw for Stratus, with this being the only night she competed before going away again.

For a short amount of time, the action was solid enough, though it didn’t really progress to anything substantial. The star power in the match certainly helped it, with former world champions and future Hall of Famers involved.

5 W/ John Morrison & Snooki Vs Dolph Ziggler & Lay-Cool

Snooki slaps Dolph Ziggler WrestleMania 27

This was a short sprint at WrestleMania XXVII, served to showcase the celebrity cameo of Snooki, who was surprisingly good in this match. Everyone got a small moment to shine, but it was too short to have any sort of story.

For a quick match, it was strong, and packed to the brim, but it certainly won’t be talked about as a great WrestleMania match.

4 10-Woman Tag Team Match

Ten Woman Tag Team Match

The night following the historic Evolution PPV, WWE made use of having Lita & Trish Stratus in the house by having them team up alongside Bayley, Sasha Banks, and Natalya, to take on Alicia Fox, Mickie James, and the Riott Squad.

These women had competed against each other the night before, but that didn’t take away from this just being a nice excuse to have some harmless fun, and to allow Lita and Stratus to wrestle in front of the fans. The women were given enough time to put forth a good match, and it was enjoyable for what it was, even if it didn’t elevate anyone or further storylines.

3 W/ Lita Vs Alicia Fox & Mickie James

This was initially supposed to see Alexa Bliss team with Mickie James, which would have heightened the star power in the match, but due to injury, she was ruled out. This made the result of this match at the Evolution PPV inevitable, but it made it no less enjoyable to see Lita and Stratus wrestling together again.

With this being the first and only all-female PPV in WWE history, it would have been wrong to not have two of the most influential names in women’s wrestling competing on the show. The action was strong, and all four women put on a show, adding to the great night of action.

2 Women’s Royal Rumble 2018

Stratus was the number 30 entrant in the match, but her contributions were still major. The Rumble itself was a celebration of women’s wrestling, with names past and present making an appearance to celebrate a big night.

With Stratus being one of the most popular names of all time, it made sense for her to cap off the match by being the last entrant. She fought with old rivals and new faces, showing that she hadn’t missed a beat, even with it being seven years since her last match.

1 Vs Charlotte Flair

Stratus’ last match to date may even be her best match in WWE, with only her battles with Lita coming close. At SummerSlam 2019, two stalwarts of different eras went toe-to-toe in a dream match, and it delivered in every way.

The pair wrestled one of the best matches of the night, and if this remains to be Stratus’ last wrestling match, it will have been a great one to bow out on.
