What is it with former Vikings and WWE? Both Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns have rocked the purple and gold and now it seems recent Vikings roster cut Babatunde Aiyegbusi is using his athleticism to pursue a WWE career. Lindsey Young of vikingsterritory.com has reported Aiyegubsi is now WWE bound. The 6-foot-9 Polish athlete was cut from Minnesota in early September, but he recently impressed WWE officials at open tryouts in Orlando. He was then put in touch with WWE Vice President of Talent Acquisition, Canyon Ceman.

Aiyegbusi’s marketing agent Adam Bair said the WWE was hot on his pursuit and were even more enticed after his tryout. "They loved his size and athletic ability. They were also very impressed with his character,” Bair said. “Babs has a very witty personality when he relaxes, and [he’s] funny. On top of that, he looks mean because of his size. They like the fact that he could play either role—the villain or the good guy."

If he does make it, let's hope the WWE doesn't try to re-create the Brodus Clay gimmick for Aiyegbusi.
