Not many fans would have predicted that one day Vince McMahon would forgive Jeff Jarrett and bring him back for a Hall of Fame induction. But as we recently learned, anything is truly possible in the WWE. Since Vince has been reigning supreme for decades now, it is only natural that he has made some enemies along the way. The wrestling industry is a very competitive field in which there is always tension due to the nature of the product. For the longest time, fans thought that Jarrett was probably Vince's least favorite figure in the wrestling industry, but that turned out to be wrong.

It didn't take much for them to settle their past differences, as both saw a great opportunity to move on. But Jarrett is just one name on a long list of names that were once blacklisted from the WWE. To this day, there are many others who happen to be on this list with a future that doesn't look too promising for them as far as the WWE goes.

Meanwhile, many others may have had a sour relationship in the past but didn't completely burn all bridges between them and the company. And when it comes to the bigger stars, McMahon has shown the willingness to put personal issues aside to do what's best for business. Today, we look at 8 former WWE stars Vince will forgive to make a quick buck and 8 he will never bring back:

16 Will Forgive: John Morrison

via si.com

John Morrison didn't burn any bridges upon leaving the WWE, but he didn't leave on the best of terms. It was mainly due to ongoing backstage heat which he earned thanks to his former girlfriend Melina, who was released from the company in 2011. But as she continued to hang around the locker room since she was dating Morrison - causing further issues between Superstars - the company decided to let go of Morrison as well. Since then, he has done well to keep his name relevant with successful stints in different promotions around the world.

There have been plenty of rumours about Morrison possibly returning to the WWE, none of which have come to fruition.

Considering his talent, as well as the fact he made a name for himself outside of the WWE, there is likely to be interest from the part of Vince McMahon. Morrison may be back in the company within the next few years, as he is still good enough to be working for the WWE. There were also rumours that Vince had previously been upset by Morrison's attitude at a time when it was well-known that Melina had been cheating behind his back with fellow Superstars.

15 Will Never Bring Back: Sabu

via mulpix.com

It took Sabu long enough to make it to the WWE, but a sudden interest in resurrecting ECW saw the company bring back many of the originals. Among them was Sabu who was introduced in a great position as he attacked John Cena. He would compete for the WWE for a year prior to his release from the company. Since then, Sabu may have gotten himself blacklisted from the company due to some harsh comments throughout his interviews. He has gone as far as to claim that he would reject a Hall of Fame induction, while trashing many important figures in the WWE.

Sabu has also gotten into trouble outside of the ring with some promoters blacklisting him on the independent scene. A few years ago, he was accused of completely destroying a hotel room which hurt his reputation even further. Sabu hasn't given WWE much reason to consider bringing him back in any capacity, including a Hall of Fame induction. Given how underwhelming his brief stint in the WWE had been, it seems unlikely that the company would want to work with Sabu ever again.

14 Will Forgive: Scott Steiner

via youtube.com

It is probably only a matter of time before Scott Steiner is back in the WWE in some capacity. His days as an active wrestler are well behind him now although he is still able to earn bookings around the world, although that certainly wouldn't be the case in the WWE. He wasn't too pleased about his run in the WWE, and made his thoughts well-known to the general public by bashing various important figures. There are some fans who believe that Steiner's intense heat with Triple H may have him blacklisted from the WWE for the remainder of his life.

But that's obviously not the case since he was previously offered a WWE Legends contract - which he declined since it wasn't very beneficial in his eyes. It would be tough for the WWE to ignore calls from fans about inducting Steiner into the Hall of Fame, as his storied career has certainly earned him a place there. And considering the fact he remains relevant with fans - despite having been away from the WWE for nearly 15 years - shows that there is still money left to be made and Vince McMahon will likely milk every last dollar out of him.

13 Will Never Bring Back: Buff Bagwell

via proboards.com

If you happen to miss seeing Buff Bagwell on your television screen, then it is probably time to come with terms that he will never be back in the WWE. Once WCW was purchased by Vince McMahon, he brought on several talents from the company with the hopes of turning WCW into a brand. And on their first night on Raw, two of WCW's former stars in Booker T and Buff Bagwell headlined Raw.

The match would end up being famous for all the wrong reasons, as McMahon would scrap all WCW related plans.

That ended up being Bagwell's final appearance on WWE television as he was released from the company shortly afterwards with the failure of the WCW preview main event falling on his shoulders. Unlike some of his peers who couldn't land a job in WWE, Bagwell failed on the independent circuit and faded into irrelevancy once he left the company. But if past tensions between Bagwell and McMahon weren't enough to ensure that he remains far away from the WWE, then his current profession as a gigolo will likely do the trick. McMahon is unlikely to want to associate with Bagwell in any way due to the nature of the current WWE product.

12 Will Forgive: CM Punk

via chicagotribune.com

The news of Jeff Jarrett being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame pleased plenty of CM Punk fans who had lost hope in seeing their favourite Superstar again. His exit from the company was obviously not well received by Vince McMahon, leaving some bitter feelings on both sides. And with an ongoing lawsuit looming around, it is unlikely that Punk will be back anytime soon. But there is no reason to think that he will remain blacklisted from the WWE for life. We have seen many Superstars have worse fall outs with McMahon, only to return after a period of absence.

Time does heal all wounds in the wrestling industry, but Punk's exist is still too fresh at the moment. There will be a time when fans can once again chant his name without a harsh comeback from Stephanie McMahon. On Stone Cold Steve Austin's podcast, Triple H opened about his relationship with CM Punk and the circumstances surrounding his exist. He also indicated that the door may be open in the future if it is what's best for business. Considering Punk's popularity and accomplishments, it seems silly to think that he will never appear on WWE television again.

11 Will Never Bring Back: Ryback

via youtube.com

Ryback didn't wrestle for too long for the WWE, nor did he generate enough impact for the company to bury the hatchet. Contract negotiations took a bitter turn when the two sides failed to come to an agreement, as Ryback accused the WWE of underpaying its employees - especially when compared to the main eventers. He was also upset with his creative direction on the show as his character had lost momentum long before he was taken off television. What started as an issue behind-the-scenes developed into a public beef, which led to some unpleasant memories for both sides.

Since his exit from the WWE, Ryback has arguably only made things worse thanks to his interviews. He has been very outspoken about the situation, as well as the problems that he dealt with throughout his run. And with Ryback throwing some top figures under the bus, such as Triple H, there is a good chance that we may never see him again on WWE television. If he had been a bigger star when he left, then McMahon may have left the door open in the future. But based on his first stint, we wouldn't bet on it.

10 Will Forgive: The Young Bucks

via thesportster.com

Some fans may be unaware that The Young Bucks were once competing in the WWE, although they failed to get a full-time contract. Based on how their careers played out, it's fair to say that it turned out to be a blessing in disguise - giving them more time to develop their personalities while also improving as professional wrestlers. In their few WWE appearances, they mainly served as jobbers who put other tag teams over. But The Young Bucks were deemed as unprofessional and immature by some members of the management.

Fast forward to 2017, they had received a cease and desist letter for supposedly using copyrighted catchphrases. And while that didn't please them at all - as they went on to criticize the company - they did earn the praise of Vince McMahon. Prior to the Hardy Boyz' return at WrestleMania 33, they were scheduled to face The Young Bucks at Ring of Honor. McMahon apparently reached out to The Young Bucks, asking them to take care of the Hardyz during their match and ensure that they make it to WrestleMania injury free - while also praising their work on the independent circuit and individual talents.

9 Will Never Bring Back: Sunny

via cagesideseats.com

It doesn't seem that long ago when Sunny was stealing the hearts of fans around the world through her appearances on WWE television. She was the premiere Diva for several years until her personal problems got the best of her. Since then, Sunny's career has been drastically going downhill - going from being the most popular woman in professional wrestling to selling Skype sessions with the fans. WWE may have overlooked some of her issues, especially those related to her backstage antics and affairs when she was still employed by the company, but there is very little reason for them to promote someone who's image has taken a huge hit.

And to make matters worse, Sunny burned all bridges down once she sold her WWE Hall of Fame ring on e-Bay for the highest bidder.

It was surely seen as a disrespectful move by Vince McMahon, who did forgive her at one point. But since getting into the Hall of Fame, Sunny has racked up a lot of controversy, and it's easy to see why the WWE wouldn't want to associate with her anymore - regardless of how some fans may feel.

8 Will Forgive: Ken Shamrock

via mmafighting.com

Ken Shamrock is one of the few prominent figures of the Attitude Era who hasn't showed up on WWE television since his departure from the company. After having spent two years with the WWE, Shamrock opted to return to UFC as a full-time competitor - a decision that didn't please Vince McMahon at the time. It's likely that he would have instantly forgiven Shamrock for turning his back on the WWE if he had replicated that very same success he had in the UFC during his first stint.

But Shamrock was a shell of himself, and would have a negative record after losing so many of his fights post 2000. As such, he was no longer relevant in the mainstream, which meant that WWE didn't have many reasons to bring him back. It is also rumored that Triple H may have played a part in keeping him out of the company for as long as he has since there were tensions between them. And while Shamrock will never have a WWE match again, it is very possible that he may get inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in the future.

7 Will Never Bring Back: Mr. Kennedy

via wikipedia.org

It seems unfair that Mr. Kennedy may never appear on WWE television again, but that's the price you pay when you anger the company's two biggest stars. He went from being considered as the future of the WWE to released in a span of months. Kennedy was accused of Randy Orton and John Cena of having been reckless in one of their tag team matches on Raw, adding that he nearly injured them on multiple occasions. The complaints combined with Kennedy's previous suspension from the company led to his surprising release, which some fans are still upset with to this day.

Unlike some fellow WWE Superstars, Kennedy hasn't been throwing shots at management as he usually tells his side of the story without going into too many details. As a full-time Superstar, it is too late for Kennedy to pick up where he left off. As for the Hall of Fame, he may not be in consideration due to his short run as well as intense heat with several important figures in the WWE. It remains to be seen whether Triple H will be more forgiving once he takes over.

6 Will Forgive: AJ Lee

via cbslocal.com

AJ Lee was one of the few female wrestlers who gave up hope to the struggling division prior to the women's evolution. She played a major role during those years, as she became the face of the division. Lee was involved in some major storylines with the biggest Superstars around, which should tell you how respected she had been backstage. But since she was in a relationship with CM Punk, she wasn't left with too many choices. Once he left the company and their tension took a serious turn, AJ made the decision to also leave the wrestling business behind.

But unlike her now husband, she didn't burn down any bridges while on her way out. The door is likely open for her to return although there would certainly be complications along the way, especially since CM Punk is still engaged in a lawsuit against the company. Whether Vince McMahon would separate his sour relationship with CM Punk to that of AJ Lee is a whole different story. There is no reason to believe that AJ will never appear on WWE television again, as she was fairly popular with her peers and fans alike during her stint.

5 Will Never Bring Back: Melina

via youtube.com

Despite being one of the most successful Divas of the mid to late 2000s, Melina is unlikely to be back on WWE television anytime soon. In fact, it is surprising that she lasted in the company for as long as she did, considering the backstage trouble that she had gotten into over the years. She had caused problems between various Superstars as she was dating John Morrison at the time, and yet had several affairs in the locker room. That only increased tension between all sides involved, earning Melina a bad reputation behind the scenes.

And if that wasn't enough, she was said to be very difficult to get along with as many fellow Divas had problems with her. Melina was reportedly a jerk who carried a huge ego when the cameras weren't rolling. WWE did give her many passes to keep her on the roster, but management grew tired of Melina's act and decided to let her go. Since she was dating Morrison at the time, he was also released from the WWE just to avoid having Melina hanging around fellow Superstars. Knowing Vince McMahon's history, Melina is probably set to remain on the blacklist for a long time.

4 Will Forgive: Alberto Del Rio

via wwe.com

Not many Superstars have been as fortunate as Alberto Del Rio when it comes to the way he was treated by the WWE. He was inserted into the main event scene at a relatively quick pace, and was handled multiple titles along the way. Despite being a main eventer, Del Rio never truly established himself as a star as he failed to fill the gap left by Eddie Guerrero and Rey Mysterio. And with his behind-the-scene issues, there were always problems with Del Rio which eventually led to his departure from the company.

But he was given a second chance shortly after, and was once again put in a position to succeed. Like the first time around, the relationship between the two sides ended on a very sour note. Del Rio hasn't given the WWE much reason to consider bringing him back into the mix, as he has had plenty of harsh comments towards Triple H and other important figures. But despite his controversial side, that hasn't stopped McMahon from admiring Del Rio's talent. According to various reports, McMahon has always been very high on Del Rio and would even consider giving him yet another chance.

3 Will Never Bring Back: Konnan

via youtube.com

At some point, Konnan was in huge demand - especially in Mexico - which led to some problems with his former boss. He signed to the WWE in the early 90s, and after going through various ideas with Vince McMahon, Konnan was eventually given the character of Max Moon. It was gimmick that McMahon was truly invested in - despite not exactly being very suitable for Konnan - as he had spent thousands of dollars on the attire among other things. And while Konnan was working for the WWE and facing some difficulties in the company, such as travelling with the heavy attire, he was also becoming a huge star in Mexico.

He even missed some scheduled appearances for the WWE as he had been booked up in Mexico, which only worsened his relationship with McMahon.

Since then, Vince has held a grudge towards Konnan - refusing to bring him back after the demise of WCW. In 2005, Eddie Guerrero attempted to use his connections to bring back Konnan to the company, but Vince had very little interest. Not much has changed since then, and given how Vince has treated Konnan over the years, it is tough to imagine that he will ever forgive him.

2 Will Forgive: Hulk Hogan

via cagesideseats.com

To this day, Hulk Hogan is arguably still the biggest name in the history of professional wrestling. And while the WWE opted to release him from the company and then erase his name from the history books, they will always be associated together. In the past, Vince McMahon forgave Hogan a number of times for what was even an even bigger personal agenda. Given their relationship, as well as Hogan's importance to the company, it is likely that he appears in some capacity.

Rumours have been claiming that negotiations began between the two sides, although Hogan has yet to show up. And while McMahon as well as plenty of Hulkamaniacs may be more than willing to forgive him for his offensive comments, he has surely lost many fans along the way who have no interest in seeing him back. But when it comes to the biggest draw in wrestling history, then it's safe to say that anything is possible. It would surely be a complicated situation for the WWE as they would have to work on fixing Hogan's image, which was completely destroyed a few years ago.

1 Will Never Bring Back: Enzo Amore

via instagram.com

Before the investigation of Enzo Amore was leaked to the public, Enzo was already on very thin ice in the WWE. There were rumours about him being kicked out of the locker room, and having multiple beefs with his peers. And it seems like Enzo allowed popularity to get to his head as his backstage attitude wasn't well received behind the scenes. All those factors were justifying enough to fire him, but Enzo's following kept him around for a bit longer. But once the story of the investigation was released to the public, and it was revealed that Enzo had chosen to not inform WWE, then it was obvious that his future would be bleak.

And while he may have been popular at some point, Enzo quickly lost steam and a return wouldn't exactly be very anticipated by fans. With very little money to be made, it's unlikely that Vince McMahon is going to forgive him anytime soon. Based on the reports regarding Enzo's final days in the WWE, Triple H may not be so keen to bring him back in any capacity either, especially since he failed to improve slightly throughout his WWE run. With Triple H having put so much effort into bringing Enzo to the top, it is almost certain he wouldn't let him waste his time once again.
