Former WWE Women's Champion Named To 2017 HOF Class

It's safe to guess that the two children of Edge and Beth Phoenix will grow up to be very happy for their parents -- and it's not because they got rich and famous.

It's because both of their parents will be able to call themselves proud WWE Hall of Famers, as WWE.com announced today that Phoenix will be inducted into the HOF class of 2017.

Here's a brief summary of what the WWE had to say on its website:

"Beth Phoenix, one of the most dominant female competitors in sports-entertainment, will take her rightful place in the WWE Hall of Fame when she is inducted as part of the Class of 2017 during WrestleMania 33 Week. The news was first reported by USA Today...Phoenix dubbed herself “The Glamazon” and went right to work."

Major congratulations to Phoenix, who undoubtedly became one of the most dominant females in the company's industry.
