Bray Wyatt defeated Seth Rollins at Crown Jewel to become the new Universal Champion, thus moving the prestigious title belt over to the SmackDown Live brand.

With that, SmackDown now holds both the WWE and Universal Championships, leaving Raw without either of the two main titles for the men's division. This is the first time that one brand has had both championships since the 2016 brand split.

So SmackDown has all the bragging rights now, and following Wyatt's victory, the WWE On Fox Twitter page had a little fun by taking a shot at Raw over its giant defeat here.

Of course, it's extremely unlikely that Wyatt will be holding the Universal Championship for long. Raw is WWE's flagship program, and the product will simply suffer if they don't have either the Universal or WWE Championship for a lengthy period of time.

Before the match, it was suggested by Dave Meltzer and Wrestling Observer Radio that Wyatt could win the Universal Championship, since SmackDown Live is in need of a major ratings boost.

Ratings have been problematic for Fox through the first month, and the show only brought in 888,000 viewers last week, although Game 3 of the World Series (broadcast by Fox), probably played a role in it. Without a doubt, having Wyatt and the Universal Championship belt will help SmackDown's product immensely.

It should be noted that Wyatt has been advertised for numerous Raw events throughout the month of November, so the Universal Championship will likely appear on Raw anyway - even if Wyatt is competing on the opposite brand now.

What's Next For Wyatt & Rollins?

The Survivor Series pay-per-view is only three weeks away now, and the event always features superstars from the opposite brand going up against one another. That would mark an opportune time to have Rollins clash with Wyatt for the title again.
