10 D-Generation X Vs Jeri-Show (Big Show & Chris Jericho)

WWE booked a rare tag title feud between four main eventers when they were paired into teams. Chris Jericho and Big Show were having a great run as the dominant WWE Tag Team Champions when they collided with DX at WWE TLC 2019.

D-Generation X reunited in the same time frame as Jeri-Show's rise to prominence, and  DX needed a few new teams to feud with during their last full-time run as a team. Jericho and Big Show provided a rare duo that most matched DX in overall success. The duos had a great feud that culminated with DX winning the titles in a TLC match.

9 The Hardy Boyz Vs The Dudley Boyz

The rivalry of the Hardy Boyz and Dudley Boyz saw WWE adding to their respective legacies. Edge and Christian joined the mix with them in the rivalry, but they ended their run faster than the other since Edge was viewed as a future singles star.

Matt and Jeff continued to battle with Bubba Ray and D-Von with the tag titles often involved. The WWE and WCW Tag Team Championship belts were unified at Survivor Series 2001 with the Dudley Boyz winning the biggest match in the rivalry.

8 The Bar Vs The Shield (Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins)

The reunion of Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins in 2017 as a tag team featured them feuding with Cesaro and Sheamus in The Bar. All four wrestlers were respected singles performers and also made for fierce tag team competitors.

The series of matches between the teams stole the show every time they faced off. Cesaro and Sheamus improved their legacy as a team by having such killer matches against top stars. Fans were ecstatic about seeing Rollins and Ambrose together again and once more on top as The Shield with Raw Tag Team Gold.

7 Legion of Doom Vs The New Age Outlaws

Billy Gunn and Road Dogg were each coming off huge flops as singles wrestlers when becoming a tag team known as The New Age Outlaws. The natural chemistry between them saw the duo getting over in a sink or swim situation.

WWE placed them in a feud with the Legion of Doom for the WWE Tag Team Championship. Animal and Hawk were still considered the top team in the industry after over a decade of dominance. The New Age Outlaws getting the huge title wins over a legendary team set them up for a legendary run of their own.

6 The British Bulldogs Vs The Hart Foundation

The history of the Hart Foundation and British Bulldogs tag teams saw them taking their rivalry from Stu Hart’s Stampede Wrestling to WWE. Vince McMahon loved the dynamic of Bret Hart and Jim Neidhart to push them hard as The Hart Foundation.

Davey Boy Smith and Dynamite Kid had a lot of support as well with their matches always delivering. Both teams always delivered great matches during their feud for the WWE Tag Team Championship in the mid-80s. The rivalry would rank higher if it lasted longer, but Dynamite’s personal issues ended the Bulldogs faster than expected.

5 The Brain Busters Vs Demolition

AEW is currently using the history of Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard in managing roles. The Brain Busters were the best technical wrestlers in WWE and entered a great rivalry with a tag team to have the opposite dynamic.

Demolition was the most dominant WWE tag team for years as the power group who dismantled their opponents. Both teams worked well together in a series of matches for the WWE Tag Team Championship in 1989. The title changed hands a few times before Demolition won in the final match.

4 The Revival Vs DIY

NXT has become a strong part of tag team wrestling for WWE in recent memory. The rivalry between The Revival and DIY stole the show on every TakeOver and delivered some of the best tag matches in WWE history.

Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa never teamed on the indie circuit before being placed in NXT. The run as DIY featured them having a feelgood moment when finally defeating The Revival to win the NXT Tag Team Championship. Few teams in WWE ever had as much chemistry as these two duos.

3 Team Hell No Vs The Shield

The Shield become the hottest act in wrestling relatively quickly. Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns became the top tag team with Dean Ambrose winning the United States Championship on his own.

Kane and Daniel Bryan had the top tag team act as Team Hell No when The Shield debuted. The rivalry between the two sides gave us great matches whether two vs two or the trios matches with a face joining Team Hell No against The Hounds of Justice. At Extreme Rules 2013, Reigns and Rollins won the tag titles from Kane and Bryan to start a dominant run as champs.

2 New Day Vs The Usos

Recent years have seen WWE’s tag team division defined by the work of The Usos and New Day. Jimmy and Jey Uso have been teaming on WWE television for over a decade, which is extremely rare for any duo in WWE.

New Day found huge success when Kofi Kingston, Big E and Xavier Woods brought their real-life chemistry as best friends to the show. The two teams had dozens of great matches with the titles on the line, especially once The Dudley Boyz joined the equation in the TLC matches.
