Daniel Bryan's future in the WWE continues to get murkier and murkier. According to F4WOnline.com's Dave Meltzer, Daniel Bryan "did give notice and was told he did not have the right to give notice." Apparently this is due to a clause in his contract that allows his contract to be frozen by WWE due to his injury. Wrestlezone.com has likened his situation to the one that Rey Mysterio faced when WWE didn't allow him to leave towards the end of his run.

So, it looks like our hopes of seeing Bryan on the indie circuit have been dashed... for the time being.
