The WWE Championship match set for Survivor Series between Brock Lesnar and Rey Mysterio now has a major stipulation attached to it.

On a Monday Night Raw that was fast-paced, hectic and chaotic, there was one segment that felt calculated, slow and methodical. That was, when Paul Heyman cut a promo announcing a huge change to the WWE Championship match between his client and the challenger Rey Mysterio. It was immediately made official by WWE who announced that the Mysterio vs. Lesnar bout at Sunday's Survivor Series pay-per-view will now be a No Holds Barred match.

After Heyman spoke, Mysterio spoke to Heyman, Lesnar and the rest of the WWE Universe and not only agreed to the stipulation, but welcomed it. He asked Lesnar who he thought it actually benefited, because Mysterio believes it will be himself as he tries to avenge his son and win the title. While he spoke, he held a led pipe in his hand that he recently used to chop Lesnar down to size.

Interesting about the promo is how intense it was considering the rest of Raw was very busy and tried to mix as many Superstars into each segment heading into Sunday's PPV as possible. It was a nice change of pace to the rest of the show.

What the stipulation means for the outcome of that match likely doesn't change much as Lesnar is still the favorite but with the pipe and possible assistance from Cain Velasquez, who knows what Mysterio will have up his sleeve?

Survivor Series Is This Sunday

The 2019 WWE Survivor Series pay-per-view takes place this coming Sunday, but there is still a lot to be decided. Triple H ended the show by saying NXT would leave its doors open on Wednesday and it's a lock that Raw and SmackDown Superstars will likely show up.
