WWE announced last week that Seth Rollins had re-injured his surgically repaired knee when he was attacked by Samoa Joe on Monday Night Raw.
The injury was made public and Rollins himself actually tweeted about it as well before he was removed from all WWE Live Events this past weekend and failed to make an appearance on Raw.
Instead, Michael Cole told WWE fans that The Architect's WrestleMania status is still very much up in the air. Dave Meltzer has provided his own update on the latest edition of The Wrestling Observer Radio and said that it is the internal belief that Rollins will be facing off against Triple H in Orlando in less than eight weeks time.
Officials are going ahead with the plan for Seth Rollins vs. Triple H on April 2nd, but it is unknown how WWE will continue the build without Rollins being in attendance.
This is great news for WWE fans since the build-up for this match has been going on for months, and it was worrying to know that there may not have been a pay-off in the end. The match between the two former friends is one of the most anticipated matches of this year's event and for a moment there the WWE Universe actually thought that it wasn't going to happen.
