Hulk Hogan had a magnificent career as a professional wrestler, winning numerous titles in the process. Some of The Hulkster's reigns were somewhat short, but there are others that were incredibly long.

Hollywood Hogan is undoubtedly one of the best wrestlers ever, and he was commissioned to demonstrate that at the end of the last millennium, when in a few years he established dominance never seen before in professional wrestling.

Yes, he certainly had title reigns that went unnoticed, but most of them were really impressive, that it seemed they would never come to an end. In fact, at a specific stage in his career, many came to think that Hogan was invincible.

10 Longest: WCW World Heavyweight Title - 359 Days

On August 10, 1996, Hollywood Hogan defeated The Giant and won the WCW World Heavyweight Championship. This was the second time in his career that he won this title.

Even though his reign lasted almost a year, he only defended the belt for seven matches (and he did very well, of course, defeating great wrestlers like Randy Savage, Roddy Pipper and The Giant) until August 4, 1997 in Michigan, when Lex Luger defeated him and Hogan had to relinquish the title.

9 Shortest: WWE Undisputed World Heavyweight Title - 28 Days

At Backlash 2002, Hollywood Hulk Hogan defeated Triple H and became the WWF Undisputed World Heavyweight champion. The fight was fabulous, it lasted 22 minutes and they both gave a great show.

Terry Eugene Bollea (Hulk's real name) proved that at 48-years-old, he could still fight at the highest level and demonstrated that age is only a number when it comes to pro wrestling.

Hulk Hogan's title reign came to its end on May 19, when The Undertaker defeated him on WWE Judgment Day.

8 Longest: WWF World Heavyweight Title - 364 Days

On April 2, 1989 at Wrestlemania V, Hulk Hogan defeated Randy Savage and became the WWF World Heavyweight champion. That was a truly spectacular match and one of the best streaks of Hogan's career would start from there.

He retained the title for almost a year, faced Macho Man several times, Ted DiBiase, The Big Boss Man, among others, but the one who finally put an end to the reign of Hulk Boulder was The Ultimate Warrior in a match that took place on April 1, 1990 at Wrestlemania VI.

7 Shortest: NWA Southeastern Heavyweight Title - 24 Days

Hogan 1979

This title reign began on December 1, 1979, at that time he called himself Sterling Golden, he was just 25 years old and was taking his first steps in this complicated world of professional wrestling.

The reign ended at Christmas, on December 25 of that same year. It was not a very nice gift to say, but the truth is 24 days as a champion is not bad for someone who is just starting. Who would have imagined that this boy would be a superstar?

6 Longest: IWGP Heavyweight Title - 378 Days

Yes, Hulk Hogan also won a title in Japan, and it lasted a long time. It all started on June 2, 1983, when Hulk Hogan beat Antonio Inoki and seized the belt.

The reign lasted more than a year, but there were only two successful defenses of the title, both against Antonio Inoki on June 14, 1984.

Most incredible of all, is that that same day, after defending the belt a couple of times, Antonio Inoki challenged him for the third time and finally managed to defeat Hogan and strip him of the title.

5 Shortest: WWE World Tag Team Title - 19 Days

On July 2, 2002 during the 151st episode of Smackdown, Hulk Hogan and Edge defeated Billy and Chuck and became the WWE World Tag Team champions.

This was the only time in Hogan's career that he won a tag team title, though it did not last long, as on July 21 of that year Christian & Lance Storm defeated Edge and Hulk Hogan to remove their belts.

It's a shame this title reign was so short because this was the last of the great Hulk Hogan's career.

4 Longest: WCW World Heavyweight Title - 469 Days

This is one of the most spectacular title reigns of his career. It started on July 17, 1994, when Hulk Hogan defeated Ric Flair and became the WCW World Heavyweight Champion for first time in his career.

Hogan defended the belt in seven occasions during 469 days against some great wrestlers like Lex Luger, Vader, Ric Flair, among others.

Nevertheless, everything has its end and this reign ended on October 29, 1995, with the victory of The Giant over Hulk Hogan at Michigan.

3 Shortest: NWA Gulf Coast Heavyweight Title - 7 Days

This was the first title of his professional career, so it's a shame that it only lasted a week. Back then he was known as Terry Boulder.

The title reign began on June 6, 1979 and ended on June 13 of that year, when he lost the belt to Austin Idol in Alabama.

This was a great achievement for the young Hogan as the first championship is always unforgettable, however it must have been a bit disappointing that he was only able to retain the title for seven days.

2 Longest: WWF World Heavyweight Title - 1474 Days

On January 23, 1984, Hulk Hogan defeated The Iron Sheik and became WWF World Heavyweight champion, it was there that one of the most magnificent streaks in history began, perhaps the most incredible.

Hulk Hogan retained the belt for four years, defending the title successfully in 171 matches, a total outrage. Hogan's supremacy was unreal, he was unattainable by other wrestlers, he was invincible.

The man who was finally able to defeat Hogan was Andre The Giant on February 5, 1988, ending one of the most impressive title reigns in history.

1 Shortest: WWF World Heavyweight Title - 1 Day

Hulk Hogan had just lost the title to The Undertaker due to Ric Flair interfering in the fight, so there was a rematch on December 4, 1991, where Hulk Hogan defeated The Undertaker and regained the belt.

However, the next day, the president of the World Wrestling Federation, Jack Tunney, decided to declare the title vacant because Hogan had thrown ashes in Taker's face and did not deserve the championship.

This was the shortest title reign of Hulk Hogan's entire professional career.
