WWE has had iconic rivalries in every era between the two biggest stars of the company. If the feud between The Rock and Stone Cole Steve Austin defined the Attitude Era, then the feud between John Cena and Randy Orton also defined the PG Era. Similarly, the feud between Randy Savage and Hulk Hogan was the epitome of the Golden Era. The on-screen friends-turned-foes produced a historical rivalry, which is still remembered today.

Even after their feud in WWE, they reignited it in WCW when both Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage were part of the company. Hollywood Hogan with nWo Championship

Hulk Hogan faced the newly recruited nWo member Randy Savage on an episode of Monday Nitro. Hogan was the champion, and he was set to defend the belt against Savage.

It was probably one of the worst matches between the two famous arch-rivals. The match was ruined by multiple interferences. When Savage was about to hit Hogan with a piledriver, there was an unnecessary interference and then Bret Hart attacked Savage out of nowhere, while it was unnoticed by the referee. The attack allowed Hollywood Hogan to pin Savage and retain the belt.

"The Human Wrecking Machine" Zeus was unfazed at the beginning of the match and dominated Hogan. Even though Zeus looked indomitable throughout the match, Hogan got him down on his knees later, only to hit him with Sensational Sherri's purse to pick up the win. After the match, Miss Elizabeth also got physical as she knocked out Sensational Sherri. Overall, it was a great and entertaining match that lasted over fifteen minutes.

However, Savage got it back with chair shots of his own. Savage whipped Hogan with the nWo belt. Kevin Nash interfered in the match and Powerbombed Savage, turning the match in Hogan's favor. Unfortunately, Savage's final WCW World Heavyweight Title reign lasted just one day.

1 Randy Savage Vs Hulk Hogan (WrestleMania V)

WrestleMania V: Hulk Hogan vs Randy Savage

Arguably one of the greatest WrestleMania matches in the history of WWE, the match between the two behemoths at WrestleMania V was certainly the best match of their feud. Miss Elizabeth was in the neutral corner in this match. The primary reason why it was the best match of this feud was the build-up behind it surrounding Miss Elizabeth, as The Mega Powers parted ways.

Both men attempted their best moves throughout the match. Savage hit a Savage Elbow at the climax, but Hogan kicked out and pinned Savage with a Leg Drop to win his second WWE Title.
