Braun Strowman selected a small boy from the crowd named Nicholas to be his partner at WrestleMania and the two of them are now Tag Team Champions.

There were two big questions that the WWE Universe were eagerly awaiting to find out the answers to heading into WrestleMania on Sunday night. One was what was going to happen between John Cena and The Undertaker, and the other was who would be Braun Strowman's tag team partner in the Raw Tag Team Championship match?

Well we now know the answers to those questions since WrestleMania 34 is in the rearview mirror. Shockingly Strowman opted for a non-wrestler to partner him in the Superdome. A small boy named Nicholas did the honors after The Monster Among Men hand picked him from the 78,000 strong crowd, and they won! A boy who can't be any older than ten is now a Raw Tag Team Champion.

Naturally it has been a massive talking point heading out of WrestleMania and some of the reactions to the match on social media have been pretty funny. 205 Live General Manager Drake Maverick took to Twitter after the match and jokingly posed the question 'Nicholas is under 205 lbs right?'. King Maxel, someone that Maverick knows all too well, was also watching pretty closely as the young Hardy tweeted 'watch your back Nicholas'.

Now former champion Cesaro had very little to say about the loss, simply posting 'stupid kid' after the match. The WWE Universe have also had a lot of fun with the shocking and peculiar title change. One fan jokingly tweeted that Nicholas has already been suspended for violating WWE's wellness policy while another has already created the young champion on WWE 2K18. They posted a screen shot of the creation along with a funny quote from Nicholas' parents calling his school to say he won't be in on Monday as he has a championship to defend.

Of all the names that were rumored to partner Braun Strowman at WrestleMania, Nicholas was not one of them. WWE now has a ten year old Tag Team Champion though so what comes next? Will Nicholas be on Raw tonight or does the youngster have a Brock Lesnar type contract that means he only appears once every month or so? Hopefully we'll find out tonight on Raw.
