For over two decades, wrestling fans have always wanted to see Sting and The Undertaker in a dream match. It wasn't possible during the Monday Night War, with Sting pushing WCW and The Deadman being one of Vince McMahon's favorite pets.
When Sting Joined WWE in 2014, fans had hoped to see The Phenom and The Vigilante face off once and for all. As we all know, Triple H would end up fighting Sting while The Undertaker fought Bray Wyatt.
Sting hurt his neck at Night of Champions against Seth Rollins last year and had to retire. However, it appears as though he still hasn't given up on the dream of fighting Undertaker.
Appearing on Legends With JBL, Sting talked about his desire to fight one more match and he's been training himself to get back into action. He's hearing mixed things from physicians but has worked extensively hard to get back in the ring and convince The Chairman to let the match happen.
Though it still remains a long shot, WWE fans can hold out one last breath of hope that they'll get their wish of having these two wrestling icons finally get in the ring together.
