Since being deleted by the Broken Matt Hardy, Jeff Hardy recently spoke to LA Weekly on his eventual retirement plans with pro wrestling. Hardy’s ideal scenario? Facing The Undertaker in a Hell in a Cell match at WrestleMania.

“Man, I want to Swanton off the top of the cell, onto the commentary table. Then, I want to climb the cell, cut the f***ing cage, when ‘Taker’s back in the ring, and Swanton through the cage, miss, and then Tombstone 1-2-3.”

It’s unlikely to happen (with reported plans of Undertaker facing John Cena in a retirement match next year), but it would be a very fitting end for Hardy, especially as it was his WWE Championship match with The Undertaker on RAW 14 years ago that truly made him a star. With Shelton Benjamin unexpectedly coming back to WWE, among a couple of old faces who are expected to strengthen both brands, Jeff Hardy would definitely be a welcome addition, however, his contract with TNA only expires in February 2017.
