WWE Hall of Famer Jerry "The king" Lawler has been arrested on charges of Domestic Violence.
According to WFSB Channel 3, Lawler says that his fiancee Lauryn McBride had lied to him about where she had been. He claims that she scratched him in the face, threw a candle at him and kicked him in the groin. He also says that she was drunk and threatened to kill herself.
Lauryn is claiming that Jerry held her up against the kitchen counter, hit her in the head, pushed her against the stove and put an unloaded gun on the table and told her to kill herself (both Lawler and Lauryn are saying that the other one brought the gun into the situation).
Both Lawler and Lauryn were arrested when the police were unable to determine who had started the incident. They were both booked in Shelby County Jail around 1am this morning.
Here is the statement released by the WWE in regards to Lawler's indefinite suspension:
"Jerry Lawler arrested, suspended
